Victoire flinched back almost like someone pushed her, before she was shaking her head and moving away from one of her closest friends. âNothing. I just forgot something important is all.â Yâknow like the fact that you were drunk-  her mind whispered, as she looked down at the floor and traced over the wood. âUncomfortable? Nope. How am I with all that? Whatâs that supposed to mean, Harper?â She questioned, a soft frown growing on her lips. âRight. I kinda figured that out. I still wouldâve liked it if you told me, and I didnât have to find out by myself. I hope you guys have fun with your little thing, where feelings wonât get in the way.â The daughter of Persephone shrugged, before rolling her eyes. âDonât. Donât say something like that, like you actually meant to kiss me at that party or anything.â When the other brunette touched her hand, Victorie didnât pull away instead she just glanced at their hands, and played with Harperâs fingers like nothing changed between them, even if that in itself was a lie. âBecause you didnât remember. I didnât want you to think I took advantage.â Dark hues glanced up at the other girl, before she was shaking her head. âIâm sorry.â
Harper ran a hand through her hair as she stared at Vic. âI donât want to fight Vic..â she shook her head. âI didnât think it mattered if i was sleeping with her, I didnât want you to think i was replacing you.â she swallowed hard. âI donât make drunk mistakes, when iâm drunk i have a clear head.â he voice began to break as she tried to kill her tears. âIâve never kissed someone i didnât mean to.â she let out a small sigh as Harper glanced down to their fingers. âYou didnât take advantage Vic, if someone kissed me i would kiss back as well.â
