I think my art block won't come back so long as I fixate on making fan designs for uma musume specifically!! have joie de vivre!! be nice to her!!

trying new things with coloring, so I colored in a sketch for a friend from a while back!

kantai collection's eidsvold and norge in dirndls, commissioned by @tiberiumcookie after a mutual friend of ours, @frommetrunui, immediately assumed these blonde girls were german despite the norwegian flag clearly being displayed in their official artwork LMAO

(In Japanese, haru urara is saying "uwaaah! hello!" while narita top road says "nice to meet you!")

ended up making a secretariat uma musume fan design!! after seeing the lowest-possible hanging branch of a secretariat fan design elsewhere, my frenzy meter instantly filled and I had to create this design to recover and break art block. there's so much thought put into the canon designs, so tackling was both an effort in spite as well as a VERY fun character design exercise, especially after looking into secretariat's background and achievements. I hope I did this horse justice! \o/
