today i grabbed the wrong camera, you can tell by how grainy this one is. and we went to my old house n visited my gramma, we played the america version of settlers of catan and it was WAY too long, cool ideas though, i really like trains. afterwards, we went to logans house and i watched bane and logan be stuck on the 2nd level of left for dead on nightmare mode for two and a half hours, we found a trick where if you kill your ugly teammates and repeatedly tap the revive button they flounder around on the floor. i had a great night, i love doing mundane shit with my friends. im gonna miss these guys when i go to college. but hey, its not like anyones going anywhere in the grand scheme of things, we will see eachother again. also bane STILL has a fat face, hahaha.

today we went to tung tung's house, tung tung had a lot of empty magic card boxes. afterwards we went to nago's and played risk, ive never played risk. risk is a very long game... also bane's face is swollen today. big fat face. fat fat.

SHES ALIVE!!!! I FIXED MY FD71!!!! anyways, today me n grant met an old guy with a weird ass voice, he was REALLY protective of his neighborhood, we were around for about 45 seconds before some guy comes out from his backyard with a barking dog and mr redneck grandpa who sounds like he smokes cigs through his nose comes up from behind us, ridiculous.

honestly, ive been really depressed these past few days. i dont deserve to be depressed, my life is great! so idunno. i saw shelby today and her friends, she couldnt drive me home tho, i walked for about 40 minutes before i just decided to get an uber. also im still mourning my fd71... i miss it, the 75 is too soft, and my 73 is too grainy and messed up. anyways, can i complain about more stuff now? thanks. I HATE the way this state looks. i hate these cookie cut suburban hellscapes and the completely unwalkable long busy roads, i would've walked all the way home if i wasnt afraid to cross the busy road. i hate it here.

my fd73 was a day early! its honestly in alot better condition than the fd71 was, it has the lense cap and everything. ONLY quirk is that on a freshly formatted disk it always comes out corrupted, its okay, ill just take a sacrificial picture every time i put in a new disk.

slept til 3:30pm, i had a reaaaaally fun night alone. woke up to the heavy rain. i love the rain. then me and grant went to buy some marbles. my camera replacement comes on august 1st.

first of all, im an idiot. i "fixed" my computer. after factory resetting it 3 times, i realized the problem was my obs encoder. i never had to reset it. and then guess what happened later? a disk got stuck in my mavica. whatd i do? i took it apart, i got it out. and then i put it back together, but despite how delicate i was i guess it wasnt enough! its fucked. it no longer will read any disks. what makes everything worse is that the disk was only stuck cuz the sticker started peeling, would've come out fully without taking the mavica apart if i tugged it hard enough, but i didnt want to, i was afraid of breaking something. i ended up blaming that disk for all of this, as if the disk had any responsibility… this is my fault, every time something like this happens its because im fucking stupid, EVERY TIME i have a problem i make it 10x worse trying to fix it. atleast i already had an fd73 on the way, itll be here on august 1st. the fd71 was showing signs of age, so i bought a spare, guess that was a good call. i guess. im still absolutely distraught, i get attached to my cameras, this project is really important to me, i want to leave a mark on the world. i dont care if its a big one. ill never stop doing this. i cant let myself leave this world without a record. i should've named my mavica, i wanted to. and i kept thinking about it but i couldnt think of a name that was good enough, i never settled, and now its too late. i think i need a drink. fuck you. nobody reads these, i can talk about drinking all i want.

hi, posting from my shitty fucking laptop tonight. i hate computers. ive been fucking with my computer trying to get it to fully reset with a clean drive all fucking day im SICK OF THIS!!! I STILL DONT HAVE MY HEADPHONES BTW, WHY WOULD THEY GET RID OF HEADPHONE JACKS? I HATE TECH NOWADAYS. IT SUCKS. IT SUCKS. IT JUST SPIES ON PEOPLE AND TURNS EM INTO INCEL CHUDS!!! GO OUTSIDE!! i wish i could part from my computer for good. but my laptop isnt good enough to replace it, and ill need a computer in college. i think what i REALLY want is to live in a world without the internet, or maybe internet 1996-2006 back when it was good. life would be so much more fun. back in the 90s you could prolly convince ur friend hed get magnet poisoning if he spent too much time around magnets, now you cant cause hed just google it... another thing, i think some people disagree with takes like this because all they have is online friends, and i can completely understand that, ive been there. but you gotta realize - IF THERE WAS NO ONLINE YOUD BE FORCED INTO MAKING REAL ONES, YOU THINK ITS GIVING TO YOU BUT ITS REPLACING SOMETHING BETTER!!!!

32 new diskettes came in the mail, i learned a lot about tricia miller, she likes jokes, REALLY likes eminem, likes tupac, shes good with computers, shes an aunt, her dad works at an office supply store, she lives in cali, she used to be a receptionist, got promoted to an information officer, and afterwards she did tech support for epson printers. i also know where she went to highschool, and a bunch of other stuff im tired of listing. its so fun to do this sorta digital archeology. only 4 of these disks are busted, and they seemed to be pretty boring content wise anyways, ill turn them into drink coasters for when i move into my college dorm.

today shelby visited again, when she dropped me off me and the guys had dnd. around 6 we went to nagos house for fireworks, where we played marbles until it got darker n decided to go to the clerb, i didn't really enjoy it there until i finally decided to go talk to some people. unfortunately we didnt have that much time :(, i was too shy. it was so loud, i was hardly present. everything felt underwater. but i enjoyed it, i think the 2nd time will be much more fun. when i got home i felt horrible about myself, and felt so jealous of everyone and everything, but did some reaall hard thinkin about life. im happy to be here in this beautiful world.

my mavica is starting to show signs of aging, ill get a spare with some birthday money, theyre cheap, im still sad tho.

shelby came to visit today. she wouldnt let me get a good pic of her. when i got home i saw an acquaintance from school, walked with her for a bit. saw a cool bug.

feels bad breaking a seal on a product older than me. went to grammas house today, got late birthday present, diskette collection grows!! (i have more on the way too.) i really dont like plastic shutters tho... they warp sometimes and that yellow one has an issue where the mavica will occasionally forget its in the slot. my drive can still read it atleast. maybe ill do something else fun with it instead of use it for photos, lmk if u got ideas, maybe ill bury it, like in inscryption.

dentist appointment today, got 3 hours of sleep but im feeling decent honestly, rewatched the backrooms movie cause mom n aaron were watching it for the first time since it came out on digital [film didnt click with her, if youre wondering]... its not often that i hang out with my mom.
