Countdown (Do yourself a favour)
Here we are again at the end of another rowing season. Spewing to admit that this has by far been the worst but I suppose it's the same old story in the end - go hard go home (cry a little eat a lot) and keep searching for motivation to bash my head against a wall for another few months. This is the end of my tenure in juniors - last year of 23s and it's interesting to think back four years ago when I picked up the oar and we all said - this is four years in the making. By rights this should have been the year to dominate but as is always the case that didn't go to plan for a whole myriad of reasons that I can't go into right now. So summer is dusted and Aussies is approaching and training has become less about winning and more about feeling good in the boat - we are yet to achieve this goal but every day is marginally aight. But 35 odd days out from Aussies and I am just going to go psycho for a bit in the hope of being a happy cunt when I strip down to my DPs on Kirra beach and have another crack at the title. Il keep you in the loop with how that goes. In other news I finished my post grad and got admitted as a lawyer - that's pretty dope.
