Request: Plot: A modern Alfie Solomons, falls in love at first sight with a shy college professor. As he is visiting, he doesnโt know how to win her heart And finally he does. Alfie is kind of a hard headed bad boy. A long one shot would be nice. Fluff or both. Alfie is an adult visitor, maybe a sponsor of a college event. Character info: Diana, 22, straight, fair with long hair. She is shy, reserved, intelligent, knows many languages, plays piano, teaches language in college. She loves to put ribbons in her hair. She comes from a broken family, has an older brother, who is a doctor. Her parents died early in her life and brother is too busy in his own life to visit.
Authors Note: I worked hard on this, also working hard on other ones but mainly this one. It has been taken forever to get this up. Iโve been having computer problems, internet problems, writers block, mental issues, family issues, I have lost & had to re write this like four times. Just a lot for things have happened that has intervened with posting and getting this up. Iโm very sorry that I wasnโt able to get it up on the date that we planned but itโs up now. I hope you like it, if you want anything changed let me know and Iโll change it. ALSO, Iโm sorry if Alfies part isnโt good, idk how to type in British. Speaking in a British accent is easier than typing and trying to make it sound like it yknow.
It was the first day back from Winter Break (Christmas Break). It was a bright, yet foggy morning. The grass in the front yard of the college glistened with water drops in the morning sunshine. Because of the temperature difference from inside the building and outside, the window to Dianaโs classroom was hazed over. Like a mirror after taking a hot shower.
Diana was looking out the window, like her ever morning routine, watching and making sure all of the students are heading to their classes on time. As she countinues to stare out the window, she could help but noticed a man walking through the front gates. She didnโt think of it to much bcuz there are a lot of people who work here. But the more she continues to watch him, she couldnโt help but notice, he didnโt look familiar, and she knew 90% of everyone here. He continues to walk and ends up going to the office.Diana couldnโt help but be intrigued and curious about him. Who is he? Whatโs his name? Is he a new teacher? New student perhaps? I donโt know who he is, but I definitely want to find out. I should give him a name since I donโt know his real name yet. Hmm, letโs just go with Mystery Man. Yea thatโs good for now. Diana had so many thoughts and questions that she was asking herself, she didnโt know where to start.
Diana was so caught up in her feelings she didnโt even notice that all her students have came in and sat down for class to start, which is her Latin language class. She didnโt even hear the bell, signaling for class to start, has rung till one of her students came up and tapping her should taking her out of her thoughts.
โMiss Diana, are you alright? Youโve been looking out the window for quite a while. More than normal. Anything wrong?โ Her student says, so quietly that if they were standing so close to eachother, Diana wouldnโt have heard her. Turning around, Diana finally notice who it is, one of her best student, Monika.
โOh, hi, Monika. Oh yea Iโm alright just got lost in my train of thought thatโs all. Iโm alright I promise. Go on, take your seat. I need to start class. Go on, Iโm alright.โ Saying with a soft smile, Diana ushers her to her seat.
Before Diana leaves her spot but the window, she canโt help but take another glance towards the office to see if she can get a glimpse of the Mystery Man, even if it was a tiny small glimpse. Sadly to her dismay, she does not, which for some odd reason Diana gets sad, she doesnโt know why, so she just pushes it down and moves over to her desk in front of the classroom, without looking back.
โAlright class, lets get started. Hope you all had a good winter break. Letโs start class on saying one thing you did over break. But the twist is, you have to say it in Latin. Letโs see who has been actually learning in the class.โ Diana announces while leaning back and sitting on her desk.
Little did she know, this wonโt be the last time she will see him.
I walked into the office of the college I was assigned to go to for a sponsor ship. When they told me about this place, I never heard about it before, which was shocking for most people I work with. When I got home I did my research on the backstory and what classes they have/offer. So here I am, 8 in the morning, in the office of a college that my company wants to sponsore. Why? I have no idea but Iโm not gonna complain and get fired.
As I was walking though the gates I couldnโt help but feel like I was being watched, so I looked around secretly so no one notices. Didnโt notice anything so I looked up at the main building and notice a young girl, early twenties maybe, staring out her classroom window. Whether she was watching me or not I gotta admit, she was hella cute.
โMister Solomonโs? Sir? Hello?โ The office lady said trying to get Alfies attention while waving a hand in front of him.
โHuh? Oh, sorry. Right, Iโm here for the sponsoring that my boss called in about.โ Alfie says coming back to earth while looking away from the window and to the office lady.
โAlright, here are the paper work and time schedule. If thereโs anything else you need let me know.โ She said giving him everything he needed.
โRight thank you.โ He turns to leave but stops and turns back around, โOne more thing, whoโs that young lady. Up on the second floor third window? I couldnโt help but notice her on my way here.โ
โOh, that sweeatheart, her names Diana. She teaches five different language classes; Latin, French, German, Gaelic and I believe Hawaiian. Iโm not sure on those l, but I know for a fact she teaches Latin and German. You should go say hi to her while the students are at lunch. She would very much enjoy the company.โ She told Alfie while smiling softly. Alfie couldnโt help but feel comfortable around the older lady, she has a motherly vibe.
Diana, what a beautiful name for a beautiful women. I think Iโll take up for that offer and go meet her.
