The message if Shera is just so powerful guys. Like yeah, it's Love. That's the message. But they took that broad concept and fucking ran with it baby. It's about every single form of love and every single facet of love. Every effect and every power of love. We see through the whole show the power of friendship, but we also see family and lovers. The three main kinds of love. We see the strengths each of those have. How love heals, protects, saves, strengthens, all of that. But even better, we do see the weakness of love. The way love can mean suffering, it can hurt, it can distract, it can destroy. But being able to see both sides of love, understanding the full extent of the power of love, is what can make you so powerful. Like we see with Perfuma that while her pacifist methods are dangerous in war, her will to not hurt her friends often a hindrance, it's also her love for them that kept them alive. She didn't see it as a weakness. And then like okay I have a lot of personal opinions on Shadoweaver, but the fact of the matter is that she raised Catra and Adora. She was an abusive and manipulative asshole who used the love of essentially family against them, but they still struggled to truly hate her. They were still always inclined to trust her, despite everything. Because love makes you trust and believe no matter what, which is both a weakness and a strength in itself. And then we have the power of romantic love baby. We see it again and again, and it all culminates into the main love story of the show: Catradora. It's their love for each other that caused each other pain and suffering, that literally caused so much destruction. And it's their love for each other that healed each other. Gave each other strength as individuals and together. Their love not only saved each other, but saved the entire universe.

like okay, I liked him at first too. He was hot and cocky and those wings, yum right? Then we got to know him, and slowly too much felt wrong about him. Yeah, he's a weapon created by the commission, which probably means the commission is evil to a point, but I think that Hawks just isn't a good person deep down. No matter what the commission taught him, a good person would know not to fucking murder another superhero just to prove allegiance to his double agent job. A good person wouldn't just treat murder like the only option - no matter how they were raised. I get it, sometimes it is the only option. Sometimes the bad guy shouldn't survive the fight because killing one will save millions. But idk man, in Hawks' case it just seems, fishy.

The same personality traits everyone loves about him and the same ones that are just twisting the knife deeper as his true evil presents itself, and I just don't like him.

And yes I know that like the school provides the food in the dorms, but what if they didn't and only provided the money for the food. Like everyone in class had to make up a shopping list and someone had to go get it, but since it's such high security, only like two are allowed to go. And because it's their one chance to wander around on the outside anymore, they all have these bizarre competitions to see who gets to go. And like sure Aizawa has to go with them, but he kinda just naps in the car and trusts them, because they are just teenagers who aren't allowed to be teenagers.

So like grocery day is a huge day in the dorm cause you all get together to make a shopping list and then have a class wide competition to see who gets to go out.
