وَإِنَّ كِتَابَ اللهِ أَوْثَقُ شَافِعٍ ...

وَأَغْنَى غَنَاءٍ وَاهِباً مُتَفَضِّلَا

The Book of Allāh is indeed the most dependable intercessor; the generous enricher and abundantly gracious...

وَخَيْرُ جَلِيسٍ لاَ يُمَلُّ حَدِيثُهُ ...

وَتَرْدَادُهُ يَزْدَادُ فِيهِ تَجَمُّلاً

The most favourable/appealing companion is the one whose conversations never tire; while the repetition (of its words) only add to their beauty.

If you knew the kindness of Allāh in managing your affairs, you would not grieve over missed opportunities or delayed wishes. You would begin and end your day with a peaceful heart and calm eyes.

It is not important that kindness comes to you in a matter that appears good for you, Allāh's kindness may come in a matter that seems bad to you outwardly, but inwardly it contains many blessings/ lot of mercy.

{‏وَعَسَىٰٓ أَن تَكْرَهُوا۟ شَيْـًۭٔا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ ۖ وَعَسَىٰٓ أَن تُحِبُّوا۟ شَيْـًۭٔا وَهُوَ شَرٌّۭ لَّكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ}

‎البعض يغيثون كالمطر وآخرون يظللون كالشجر، وبعضهم كالصحراء مهما زرعت فيهم، لا وفاء ولا ثمر

The Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said:

“Whoever performs ablution (wudū) perfectly, as ordained by Allāh, the Exalted, the obligatory prayers will serve as an expiation for the sins committed between them.“

ومن تمام حُسْنِ الظَّنِّ باللهِ أنْ يستقرَّ في قلبِكَ أنَّه لا خيرَ لكَ في شيءٍ مُنِعْتَ عنه، وأنَّ رحمةَ اللهِ بالحِرمان لا تقِلُّ عن رحمته بالعطاء

With time, you will come to know the wisdom of Allah in everything that has happened to you

ستعرف أنه كان أرحم بك من نفسك

Ibn Taymiyyah رَحِمَهُ الله said:

If Allah wills goodness for a servant,He inspires him to pray to Him (du’a) and seek His help; making it (his du’a and reliance upon Him) the means through which the good he has decreed for him (to come to pass).

“Marry me off! For verily I dislike to meet Allāh whilst I am single!”

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : إن الله تعالى ليحمي عبده المؤمن من الدنيا وهو يحبه ، كما تحمون مريضكم الطعام والشراب تخافون عليه

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

“Verily Allāh Ta'ālā protects His believing servant from the (wealth and share) of the Dunyā out of His love for him just like you protect your sick from (too much) food and drink out of fear (of harm) for him.”

إِنَّ الْحَسَنَتِ يُذْهِبْنَ السَّيِّئَاتِ

Indeed, good deeds erase bad deeds — [Sūrah Hūd, 114]

The great Imām Ata bin Yasar said concerning the ayah:

“Among the good deeds are:

Subhan Allāh,

Alhamdulillāh,

La ilaha illa Allāh ,

Allāhu Akbar and

La hawla wa la quwwata illāh bi-llāh

and these are the everlasting good deeds.”

“Do not seek help for your needs except from someone who loves your success!”

Some poor people came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said:

“The wealthy people will get higher grades and will have permanent enjoyment, and they offer prayer like us and observe fast as we do. They have more money by which they perform the Hajj and Umrah, fight and struggle in Allāh's Cause and give in charity.”

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“Shall I not tell you a thing upon which if you acted you would catch up with those who have surpassed you? Nobody would overtake you and you would be better than the people amongst whom you live except those who would do the same.

Say Subhan Allāh, Alhamdulillah and Allahu Akbar 33x each after every (compulsory) prayer.”

A righteous woman (wife) does not come due to your efforts rather she is a provision (gift) that is handed over to the one who fears his Lord.

{أَنِ ٱشۡكُرۡ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَيۡكَ}

“give thanks to Me and to your parents.”

[Sūrah luqmān, āyah 14; 31:14]

Sufyān bin ʿuyaynah (رحمه الله) stated:

“Whoever prays the five [obligatory] prayers had indeed given thanks to Allāh, the Most High, and whoever supplicates for this parents at the end of the five prayers has indeed given thanks to his parents.”

And put your trust (O Muhammad ﷺ) in the Ever Living One Who dies not,

[Al-Furqaan: 58]

Sulaymān Al-Khawwās رحمه الله said:

“It is not befitting for a servant - after [hearing] this āyah - to resort to other than Allāh in his affair!”

When (a person) recites the Qur'ān and thinks about what it means, that is from the most powerful of means of holding him back from sins.
