Good evening, this is Yana Toboso.

It was announced at the MBS anime festival on 10th of this month that Kuroshitsuji will get a new animated movie!!! Thank you so much!! This is really all thanks to you who have been supporting the series.

Mrs Maaya Sakamoto, who played Ciel’s role and participated in the MBS anime festival as a surprise guest, said “I thought this [*Book of Murder] was the very last one, I’ve been taken in [by the anime staff]!” and I feel exactly the same way as her. (lol) Of course in a positive sense, though!

I’m so glad to be able to see Sebastian and the others moving and talking again. Since the first season, [the anime staff] have produced each anime season thinking this is their very last one. That’s why we always got to see an extremely deep and emotional ending [for each season], even though [some of them] were anime-original stories. This time, thanks to your support, we’ll get to see a fourth anime adaption.
