United States Soccer Re-Branding
I've been a long time soccer fan having grown up playing the game as a little guy. Â And, as such, I'm a huge US Soccer supporter. Â But I think most fans can agree, US Soccer has an identity crisis. Â We don't get consistency in the jerseys. Â Our crest looks like a clipart leftover from 1993. Â It could use some work.
There's been a fair amount of effort put out there by fans to re-brand the US Soccer Federation. Â And while some of them aren't bad, I honestly feel they have been over-designed. Â Here's a look at some of those:

To be fair, Nike has been doing the same thing at times. Â Why on earth do you bring back the hoops but insist on putting a ghost sash on there?! Â It's tough to see as a fan.
For me, I think we need to simplify and go back to the basics. Â I've tried to simplify and set an identity for the US to follow. Â I'm splitting this up into three parts. Â Part I, a crest redesign. Â Part II, the jersey design. Â Finally, Part III, the marketing.
The basis behind my entire design was simple. Â Soccer History. Â We have a surprisingly rich soccer tradition in America. Â We need to get back to that. Â Hopefully Nike see's this. Â If you do, Nike, I promise I'm cheap! Â I just want to see a great US kit!
