And then, she learnedā¦ Cigarettes. Alcohol. Drugs. From a knightās goodbye and all the other fucking goodbyes. The pain it brought, The insecurities and bitterness she never sought. She wished to be loved, Never rejected and more accepted, With self-worth strongly attached. Instead, she got drunk and drugged. It was ecstasy for her And then she learnedā¦ Cigarettes. Alcohol. Drugs. From the fake success and its painful kisses, The broken promise of success in the air, The false touch of luck in her life. She wished to become a winner, A Valuable human, With self-worth strongly attached. Instead she got drunk and drugged, It was ecstasy for her. And then she learnedā¦ That she needed to learn, She needed to understand, That somewhere in between her journey. There would be more pain, More insecurities and bitterness. But she need not to be drunk and drugged. Because, she had belief. She had faith. In Cakes, Ice Cream, Rainbow, And all the other good things in life. And then she learnedā¦ She will make the most difficult decisions, and learn to love herself more than anyone or anything else. And for her, that is ecstasy." ā„
