So I have a burning question... if Danno was on the island for 6 months before he was assigned to John's murder, why had their paths never crossed? Was John retired? They both worked for HPD, correct? Am I missing a giant clue somewhere? Someone please find me an answer.

Okay I'm a bit perplexed by Kamekona's attitude towards Danny's restaurant. Sure they asked him to be a silent partner and help out with the financial end of things to keep the ball rolling but when he started spouting off the conditions of his contract, my heart sank for Danny. Here was a man (Kamekona) who had his own dream and made it a reality several times over and to me, it felt like he was taking possession of Danny's dream and making it into his own business deal. Even going as far as wanting to change the name. I found it disrespectful and hurtful towards Danny and Steve to basically take their baby away from them. He did the same thing to Flippa. I would have hoped he could have been the kind of friend to help but not take over. Am I reading it wrong? Does anyone else agree with me?
