Immediately thought of them when i heard this lyric

I've noticed that they were kind of similar in the way that they both wanted to eradicate the ordinary populace outside of their respective groups (for geto: non-sorcerers, and for eren: humanity outside the walls) and ultimately chose to slaughter them as a radical solution to their misery. Plus, they both underwent a separation from one of their closest friends, which shows the morality that they left behind to reach their goals. (for geto: gojo, and for eren: armin and maybe mikasa?)

I think it's really interesting how Makima repeats the words of her victims, it's like her way of flexing her surveillance and dominance over them. She is able to see/hear through those she perceives to be lower life like rats, birds, cats, etc, so when she repeats these remarks of her prey or references their comments, it's a scary reminder that they never really had privacy, highlighting their defeat/death or Makima's success in manipulating them.
