friendly reminder that NONE of the classes in animal hospital have a confirmed gender, and the only characters with confirmed species are ratthew, rattina, and Ron from accounting. The head nurse doesn't have a confirmed gender either! YES NURSES CAN BE MALE look at literally any hospital, the female nurse stereotype likely comes from their work during the war, as well as constant sexualization. If you think head nurse is a girl purely because in one of the possible leaked skins they're wearing a dress, that's quite close-minded. We'll have to wait and see for their genders, but as for now they are GENDERLESS. Also, the only confirmed relationship is that rattina is ratthew's twin sister.
The genderless-ness is likely so that everyone can play as them :)

I just love thinking that Psy just accidentally saw Intern with his maw open when on low sanity, accepted it as a hallucination and Intern just thought that the other was cool with that. Made him relax around him. And then Psy just freaking out when Intern randomly fully yawned for the first time near him on a duo shift.

I like to imagine that he gets coffee in a mug from whoever is working during the shift! Though there's always a higher chance that he'll get it in Paramedic's mug. Paramedic's usually away on emergency calls, so his mug falls victim for Barney most of the times he visits
A little bit of my headcanons and mugs!
Due to quite stressful field of work, Dr. Harlow decided to give them some budget to get the mugs they like for their workplace, hoping that it would increase their morale and make them loose sanity slower.
A few of the group didn't care that much, so they just decided to let Security and Paramedic go on that small task. And they made sure to have some fun choosing mugs for everyone (Expect for Agent, he asked for plain black mug).
1. Intern's mug: They took a simple mug and added text with colorful markers, since they didn't find anything more fitting;
2. Psychologist's mug: They uh-... Well, they thought it would be funny. Psy didn't look amused when he first saw what they got him;
3. Secretary's mug: A teasing mug to remind the poor guy of his singing capabilities (I LOVE thinking he had a husky in his bloodline);
4. Nurse's mug: She loves honey, so they got her a mug with a bear. It was the last mug they bought so their creativity was drained...
5. Head Nurse's mug: Security couldn't find a mug that says "Mother of 8" so he had to improvise a little later with a marker;
6. Security's mug: He just liked the spooky vibes (It's actually is a reference to FNAF. Like... Purple mug, ghosts... Catching my drift?);
7. Paramedic's mug: He wanted to be funny. Head Nurse was not having it and she taped the inappropriate part over;
8. Doctor's mug: Doctor was one of those who said that they didn't care about the mug, and the boys decided to pick the one that would piss him off the most;
9. Secret Agent's mug: They got him a black mug just as he asked, even if the desire to pick something funky for him was strong. Though after some time Nurse decided to tape to the mug two paper colored eyes, because she thought it would be cute. Agent loved it and didn't say anything;
10. Surgeon's mug: They remembered him mentioning a certain anime so they went to a merch store just for that! The big guy was flustered but grateful
