“no one has bigger balls than us right now…i pulled out songs that like….can you rip a song like a song that we did in 2001 and never released? we demo-ed it but no one can find the fucking demo. and like the only like survivable recording anyone can find is a sound check at the knitting factory. that’s the only recording of it. so we had to go back, listen to that, and relearn what we thought was being played. and also like how would we play it now? and so the night before we played the song, which was the last show, i just rewrote parts for it that i thought would be, ‘alright this is what i think i would’ve played then, this is what i would play now and i think it works best.’ and we kind of rewrote the song the night before and then tried to rip it with songs we had been doing for like 6 months. and like that. you feel like a badass when you can do that. you feel like a musician then. like the musicianship and the artistry, that can’t be fucked with.”

something something the revenge versions of mcr all grew old except for mikey, he is young and covered in blood. Something something gerard wrote brother cause he was scared of losing mikey. Something something there’s an alternative version of the story where they all didn’t make it to this tour, where mikey dies young. Where someone dies young. Stuck in limbo.
