“Yeah? And what’d my Charizard say?” He remembers when conversations like this were once his way of trying to get into her pants. And maybe he still hasn’t stopped trying to do that, but it’s a lot less complicated now. Or he wants it to not be complicated anymore. And she’s into this kind of stuff, because she’s weird and off-beat and he likes that about her, so much that he doesn’t mind if this isn’t necessarily flirting anymore. He genuinely does enjoy her company and with it, all the strange little pet names she calls him.
“I’m a good two inches taller than you,” he reminds her. “and they don’t have me spooked. I didn’t even get one. I’m still mad about that.” He reaches for the cup, complimentary of course - or it better be at least. “Whose authority? The little goblins in your backyard that bring you intel?”

“It said that you’re in need of a haircut and should try wearing more leather jackets - also your aura has a horrible color, on account of your being shut off from the great beyond. Have you watched Inferno yet? You’ll end up like Mark if you aren’t careful.” If it feels like a threat, it isn’t - Hannah delivers the line with her trademark cheeriness, earnest in her advice; though she isn’t quite sure if she’d like Jordan as much if he agreed with everything she said. It’d take the delight out of bribing him into half hearted confessions she was the supreme.
She waves away his alleged height (she’d meaning to measure him when he wasn’t looking). “I’m going to need a doctor our our good Sheriff to sign off on a statement, because I’m pretty sure you’ve just got bigger hair.” The coffee he’s drinking with her, is complimentary - for now. “So you could try and prove it’s part of some conspiracy to indoctrinate the town with big corp ideology? Or because I haven’t called you in a week and you got lonely?” Hannah wants to pretend to be miffed at the goblin comment, if she hadn’t made wild claims about them at city hall last week. “The authority being the true authority of this town! And no, not your ancestors; not the living ones, anyway. Have you been to the lake lately? Fie minutes out there and guaranteed, they’ll come to you.”
