(TW: sexual abuse) Submission for @exoduscry 's #traffickinghub art campaign against sexual abuse on Pornhub. “The largest porn site in the world makes it insanely easy for users to upload videos of real sexual violence. And in doing so, they forever memorialise the trauma of their victims, all for the profit and pleasure of Pornhub and its users.” If there’s one thing that always gets to me it’s hearing about sexual abuse and violence. Our sexuality is one of the most intimate and personal aspects of who we are and one of the most violating ways to be hurt. As a Christian, seeing people twist something beautiful which God has created, to damage rather than love others, angers and saddens me even further. Sex trafficking doesn’t only happen in disadvantaged countries or on streets, it can happen behind screens in homes and schools, places that should be safe. Pornhub has been found to be complicit in enabling sex trafficking, and should be held accountable.
