“Look look, I made a drawing of you.” Bouncing over to the taller person, the child tugged on the cuff of his pant leg. A sweet smile graced his face, though it hid the laugh that bubbled up. There was no way that the drawing was flattering.
A soft tug at his pant leg makes Dino look down, and standing at his feet is none other than Tsuna’s tiny Lightning Guardian. Letting a friendly smile pull up the corners of his lips, Dino crouches down and takes the proffered sheet of paper from the boy’s small hand.
“O-Oh,” Dino stutters, staring down at the drawing, his smile flickering briefly. “It’s, uh. It’s lovely…”
‘What the Hell am I looking at?!’ the Cavallone boss thinks, feeling one eye start to twitch.
Keeping the innocent smile on his face, Lambo eyed the blond, quietly chuckling to himself when he saw him begin to question the drawing. The child praised himself for being the cunning mastermind that he was.
“Don’t you like it?” Letting the smile falter, the corner of his lips turn down in false disappointment.
The child’s face falls at Dino’s response to the drawing, and the last thing the blond needs is for this kid to have a meltdown in the street right now. Letting out a short sigh of resignation, Dino paints a nice, hopefully child-friendly smile on his face and looks down at the drawing in his hands.
“It’s... it’s very nice,” he says, “why don’t you tell me more about it?”
He points to a crudely drawn stick character, topped with a yellow smudge, that he presumes is meant to depict himself.
“So this is me, and... uh. What’s happening here?”
