regretfully self-indulgent

Been running through the Opportunity the other day and well.

finally, i think, finally i’m at the start of a vampire novel. i don’t actually want to live forever, but i’m not about to turn down a call to adventure like that. i try to flip the card over as inconspicuously as possible. 

the other side contains a bible verse about keeping jesus in your heart. 

Fast forward. It’s the middle of the night and Rhys has gotten up to go get a glass of water. Person who’s staying over also goes to gets up and is in that half awake half asleep state. Encounters Rhys in his groggy state but it only registers as someone with a green face that honestly looks so much worse when you’re not fully awake. Cue screaming and Rhys getting decked in the face.

Long live the chief.
