I recently had the incredible honor of attending the Nobel World Records Event in Hospet District, a celebration of creativity, tradition, and the incredible skill of artisans in Aari Work, Makeup, Mehndi, Tailoring, Kuchu, and Crochet. This event was more than just a showcase—it was a platform for women’s empowerment and recognition of the dedication, passion, and talent of India’s skilled women artisans. 🌟

Under the guidance of Dr. Aravind Lakshminarayan Sir, the event was conducted with precision, professionalism, and a vision that highlighted excellence at every level.

During the program, I shared the mission of the Indian Aari Workers Federation, emphasizing: ✨ The importance of official certifications and accreditation ✨ Professional identity and recognition for Aari workers ✨ National and international opportunities, including platforms like the Malaysia Makeup Event

Meeting the dedicated women Aari workers of Hospet was the most inspiring part of my visit. Their discipline, creativity, and passion for their craft truly reflect the strength of Indian women artisans. 💪🎨

Under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Aravind Lakshminarayanan (National President – Indian Aari Workers Federation), the 3rd General Body Meeting of IAWF was successfully conducted in Bengaluru, Karnataka, organized by the Karnataka Aari Workers Council (KAWC).

This meeting marked a turning point for Karnataka’s Aari community, where district-level secretaries and members came together to discuss key challenges and identify impactful solutions for the development and empowerment of Aari workers. 💪

For the first time, representatives from all regions shared their local issues, leading to strong resolutions that focused on unity, growth, and welfare across the state. 🇮🇳

Key Resolutions Passed: ✅ Institutional development & accreditation ✅ Strengthening the Pro Aari Olympiad 2026 initiative ✅ Ensuring quality training and eliminating fake certifications in the Aari sector

Every participant proudly contributed to shaping the future of India’s Aari Industry, reaffirming that IAWF is not just a federation — it is the collective voice and power of every Aari artisan in India. 🌍

Keerthana N, founder of Dev Aari Works and Coaching Center, has been appointed as the Secretary of the Karnataka Aari Workers’ Council and also serves as the National Executive Director of the Pro Aari Olympiad. Widely known as “Aari Akka,” she has become a prominent leader in the Aari embroidery community through her dedication and tireless efforts.

Her institute conducts Aari classes both offline and online in Kannada and Tamil, empowering women from diverse backgrounds to master this intricate craft.

Recognized for her excellence, Keerthana N has received the prestigious Aari Kalashree Award, while her institute has earned the Best Aari Work Institute Award. Dev Aari Works and Coaching Center is also officially registered, further strengthening its credibility as a leading Aari training hub.

Growing up in a small weaving village, I never imagined my art would take me to the world stage. Today, I am humbled to receive India’s first Oscars Book of Records Award at the 2nd International Aari Workers Conference — a milestone not just for me, but for every artisan who keeps our embroidery traditions alive.

This honor belongs to every Aari artist preserving our craft, to every woman who dares to dream beyond boundaries, and to everyone who believes that handmade art has the power to transform lives.
