Hand Carved Morels

Color added, looking great.

Carved another great Morel mushroom, 4 inches tall from Basswood. Time for some color.

Finally getting around to coloring this carved Morel mushroom.

Hard to do this with both arms around the camera. Finished Hedge Turkey call, slate with a glass sound board.

Carving a few Morel mushroom topped strikers for Turkey pot calls.

If you drag everything out to make a Turkey call, you might as well make 3.

I was thinking green Slate for the play surface of my Osage Orange turkey pot call but now I'm not sure, maybe Copper or half blasted Crystal.

Osage Orange wood, made a few of these in the past, always regretted not keeping one for myself. This will have green Slate play surface not sure what sound board I want but will definitely have a Osage Orange display stand and carved Morel striker. Shed antler striker display looks good.

Put the finish on the Walnut base. The carved Morel is removable, makes for a great display.
