lol people really need to stop basing their criteria for ‘doing something’ off of the way internet politics has been structured. anyone who has a degree of intelligence or self-preservation is not going to be posting about what theyre doing, or viewing social media as a real avenue for organizing. it is at the very best just a means of spreading information and connecting with people, and its limited in those functions too. your actual political work should not be mentioned online or connected to your online identity. its absolutely horrible security culture, and just fucking ridiculous when the thing we’re talking about is resisting armed fascists/right-wingers. i think leftists also need an actual social media strategy to utilize it in the most effective and safe way possible
