Hannah blushed a bit, embarrassed but she still punched him in the arm playfully, as she did with most of her friends. “Tch. Some Jaeger pilot you are…can’t even take a girl holding your had. Man, you got a lot to learn.”

He jogged after her and was still smiling as she called out to him. He walked alongside her and gave her a playful punch in the arm as well.

Noah smiled at Claus, once again taken aback by how nonjudgmental the jaeger pilot was.  Not really in a hurry to do anything, the therapist was content for someone to talk to as they wandered back down the hallway.

"Ah yeah, beautiful mech. Oh and I pilot with a guy named Ken, though we call him Bumble. Yeah our group is christmas themed, though it doesn't bother us."

Noah’s brows creased in concern as Claus seemed to get a far off look after talking about his family.  It was difficult when a person was stationed oceans away from the people they cared about.  ”I hope someday that you can go back and visit.”

"Sounds like a good family to me..."

"Ovus Mortis?  Mortis as in death?  Hm… I always find the Jaegers are so aptly named.  Did you have any part in naming the Jaeger?  I know that sometimes the pilots play more roles than just being a pilot.  I’ve met some pilots who are also part time Jaeger technicians.  I always think it’s so fascinating to see people so invested, so passionate about something.  Did you grow up in Ireland?  It looks so beautiful over there, Emerald Isle and everything…"

"Yeah, Ovus for Birth, Mortis for Death... Well Ovus because Ovum as well which is a joke amongst my original group from Ireland. I do some J-Tech stuff for my own Jaeger but not much else... As for Ireland, I actually spent up to my teens in California until the first breach and we immediately left for Ireland to live with my grandparents. It really is quite beautiful, i can't wait to go back and visit..."

It was a long process. What should have taken only a few seconds took minutes thanks to Hannah’s fear. Thankfully Claus’ was really patient with her, waiting when she needed a break and helping her if she got stuck. When she asked for support, she didn’t think it’d be this good. She was really grateful, and even moreso when they finally reached the bottom. When he withdrew his hand, she looked down to notice red patches of skin. Hannah didn’t realize that she had been holding on so tight.

"It's no problem at all, I'm sure my feeling in my fingers will come back by tomorrow..."

"That makes sense." Noah commented.  "I hear a jaeger pilot’s schedule is pretty strenuous - oh watch your step here."

He took the step carefully and nodded, though he spent most of his time working on the Mech rather than meetings or anything like that. He held books out for Noah to place into the bin and grinned, not many people cared to know what pilot was with what Jaeger, they just knew it had to be something and didn't need any more information.
