If you made it to see the Hamlet-Mobile in person this summer, you know that before we let you into the van, we asked you do one thing: sign our guest book.  The sole instruction? "Describe Hamlet in 6 Words." As a result, we have more than 100 entries in our anthology of Six Word Hamlet, and we'll be releasing them one at a time on Twitter and Tumblr this fall. Here are a few to get us started:

We’re on our way to the Bootleg Theater for three more nights of immersive, intimate Shakespeare...in a van.

TONIGHT: “Crown | Ambition | Queen” from 7:30-9:30pm in the Bootleg parking lot. Sign-ups start at 7pm. Two-person audience show, 15-minute run time. See you cats there.

Today, Friday 6/26:

“Interior. Kitchen. Night” from 8-10pm.  Sign-ups are at 7:30pm.  9-10pm is a “Donors Only” hour, but if the slots don’t get claimed, they’ll go the standby list!  We’re headed for a quiet spot on Cahuenga or Cole.

Tomorrow, Saturday 6/27: 

“Family Feud”: Street piece, so no lines and no waiting! Be ready for us when we pull up.  2:45pm: Near the Hudson, 3pm: Near Actor’s Company, 3:15pm: Near Fringe Central

“Break-up Sex” from 4-5:30pm.  Sign-ups at 3:30pm.  Two-person audience.  Just FYI, some donor slots have been pre-reserved.

“Advice from Dad” from 7-9pm. Sign-ups at 6:30pm.  One-person audience.

“An Orgy of Blood and Ashes” at 9:30pm. Street piece, no line!  Runs 15-20 minutes.

Sunday 6/28

“The Gravedigger Hotboxes the Van” from 11am-12:30pm. Sign-ups at 10:30am. One-person audience.  Bring coffee!

At Lillian and Eleanor, NE corner. “Advice from Dad” plays from 8-10pm. Sign-ups start at 7:30pm. If you get there first, be the line leader!

And headed to the Hollywood to perform from 8-10pm tonight.  Sign-ups start at 7:30pm near the Hudson’s mainstage box office on Santa Monica.

It’s a two-fer day! We’re performing “Crown | Ambition | Queen” from 6-7:30pm and “Break-up Sex” from 8-9pm. Both two-person audiences, so bring a friend or get ready to have an intimate experience with a stranger (both sound fun!).
