A roar of shouts exploded from the living room as the game ended and Alexander was the winner.
âHey, Iâve never played this game before,â John said in his defense.
âYeah, but I still won,â Alexander gloated, moving to kiss his cheek and tutting as John moved away.
âNo, you deserve to only kiss winners. As a person who just lost, that does not include me,â he proclaimed melodramatically before leaning against Thomasâs legs. âYour half of my kisses is going to be split between Lucy and Susan.â To prove his point, John leaned down and kissed Lucyâs cheeks, making her giggle.
âYay! Johnnyâs my boyfriend!â
âNo boyfriends until youâre 30,â Thomas reminded her, though it was hard to keep himself from smiling at the situation. If someone had told him a month ago that heâd be there just laughing and freely enjoying himself with no hidden agenda, he wouldâve laughed and thought about all of the wrong that heâd done, whether or not he wouldâve recognized it as such. He knew just how lucky he was to have someone like John forgiving him and he was not going to ruin his chances. Not again.
âAlright, guys! Itâs time for dinner,â George called out as he helped Martha set the table. âThomas, you and Lucy are welcome to stay and join us.â
Thomas shook his head. âNo.. Lucy and I have a long day tomorrow and itâs time for her to start getting ready for bed. I wouldnât want us to just eat and go..â
Martha shook her head. âNo, no, I insist! Especially with little Lucy there. Even if you donât want to eat, she needs to.â
âWell..â Thomas looked down at Lucy, who looked back at him with pleading eyes. âAlright..â
âGreat!â Martha smiled and set their places. âWash up, then come on and eat.â
John was the first one to do just that and the first one at the table, digging into the beef stew and rice with Alexander close behind him.
Alexander wasnât eating nearly as eagerly, but he was eating much better than he ever used to.
Lafayette and Hercules joined them next, sitting beside each other with their chairs pushed close.
Finally, Thomas walked with Lucy back to the table, helping her onto the chair before sitting in his own, letting his sister take the seat beside John.
Unfortunately, this gave her a close enough seat to see Alexander push some of his food onto John's plate, the latter completely accepting the offer.
"Johnny, Alex should finish his food so he can grow up and be big," she reprimanded, copying the words of her older brother.
John glanced between her and Alexander for a second, hoping to come up with the right words. "Well.. Alexander's a little sick.. He can't eat as much as me.." Alexander's serving was closer in size to Lucy's than to anyone else at the table.
"But won't eating more help him get better?.."
Alexander was eating more. He was getting better. But telling Lucy that would only lead to her asking how much he used to eat.
"What are you and Tommy busy with tomorrow?" John asked instead, hoping to distract Lucy just enough to push away the topic.
And it worked like a charm. Her eyes lit up and she seemed to sit a little bit taller in her chair. "Wash day! Tommy promised he'd braid my hair again!"
"Again?" John asked with a small chuckle. During the first try of their relationship, John remembered just how much Thomas had struggled with braiding Maryâs hair, at her request, with John and Marthaâs help, so the idea of him braiding Lucyâs thicker hair seemed impossible.
âI can learn new things,â Thomas commented, playfully glaring at John. âLucy isnât big enough to learn how to do it herself and she doesnât like other people messing with her hair, so I learned to do it for her.â
Alexanderâs eyebrows raised in surprise, just a bit. He was still unused to seeing how good of big brother Thomas was. It reminded him of how good John was, but being sweet was something he could see from John, no problem. From Thomas, however... âIâd like to see that,â Alexander unknowingly muttered under his breath.
Lucyâs eyes seemed to shine with a new idea. âThey should come over! I want Johnny to come over and you can show Alex that youâre nice because youâre a good big brother!â
Thomas choked on his water. That was the last time he confided in her. âLucy, we canât just take up their time.. Iâm sure they had other plans for their weekend..â
Actually, Alexander had been curious about what made Lafayetteâs hair so special that they put aside a whole day to wash it and he was sure that Thomas and Lucyâs hair was the same, so... âWe didnât have anything planned.. I think we were just going to sit and watch movies like usual,â Alexander added with a shrug.
And, for once, Alexanderâs disagreement wasnât such a bad thing.
John smiled a bit and nodded. âWell.. If he says so, I guess thereâs no reason why we canât go over.. That is, if we wonât be intruding.â
Thomas shook his head. âSunshine, you two can never be an intrusion. Youâre more than welcome over, if you really want to.â
âSounds like a plan, then,â John said with a nod, squeezing Alexanderâs hand under the table. He couldnât have known why exactly Alexander wanted to go over, but he did know that it couldnât have been easy to admit.
Alexander squeezed his hand back lightly, smiling to himself. âJohn?..â
âYeah?â
Alexander didnât respond, simply smiling widely down at his empty plate.
John smiled with him and kissed his cheek, making a mental note to give him a proper kiss later, before taking Alexanderâs plate as well as his own to the sink, sighing contently. Things were good. There were a few complications, as there would always be, but... Things were going good. It was just a matter of hoping theyâd stay that way.
That night, he and Alexander went to his apartment, Thomas and Lucy in their own next door, and spent their time quietly, enjoying the peace that they were seeing less and less of with every big obstacle life decided to throw their way.
In the morning, the pair got up and got ready to bother Thomas and Lucy for the day, taking quick showers and eating a small breakfast before going over, knocking on their door.
Thomas answered within the minute, smiling as he saw them. âGood morning, sunshine. Alex.â He leaned down and kissed Johnâs cheek. âCome on in, Lucy wonât let me near her hair without you guys here to watch.â
Said child ran out to greet them, her hair already out of the puffs that Thomas had it in before. âJohnny!â
âHey, Lucy.â He smiled and leaned down, letting her hug him. âAlright, weâre here. Come on, Tommy has to help you do your hair.â
âI know!â she chirped, running around the apartment.
Thomas smiled. âShe loves wash day.. Itâs guaranteed quiet time with me and we get ice cream after, but I donât know if weâll have time for that, if she wants me to braid her hair again..â
âIf it comes down to it, Iâll go get the ice cream, no problem,â John promised, stepping inside with Alexander close behind him.
âWeâll see.. If a certain someone can stay still, we can probably finish a bit sooner than that.â Thomas smiled as he watched Lucy run around and followed her into the kitchen, lifting her onto the counter and having her turn around before spraying her hair with a bottle labeled âDetangler.â
âSo.. Can you explain this stuff to me?... Iâve been curious because of Lafâs hair...â
âYeah, no problem,â Thomas hummed as he began running his fingers through Lucyâs hair. He explained the significance of each step as he went through them, Alexander listening intently. He wasnât really one to care about that kind of thing - hell, he hardly took care of his own hair - but he couldnât help but be curious about the way theirs was so different.
John simply watched quietly as the day went on. After all, Marthaâs hair was similar, even if not quite as thick as Lucyâs. Heâd helped her figure out her own hair routine when attempting to care for it the same way as John cared for his own hair simply wasnât working.
Almost two hours later, the three guys were sitting on the couch with Lucy on the floor in front of them, her eyes glued to a cartoon on Thomasâs phone as he began braiding her hair.
âI hope you guys know that this is going to take a lot longer than the washing,â Thomas mentioned. âThisâll be at least three Disney movies, four if Lucy needs a break.â
Neither boy seemed to mind.
âItâs not like we were planning on doing much else today, anyways,â Alexander shrugged.
âYeah, we were probably just going to do the same thing,â John added, pulling out his phone as it buzzed. â... Or not. Laf says they need my help with Francis.. Do you want to come along, Alex, or..â
He shook his head. âIâll stay here. If Lafâs asking for your help with her, itâs probably make up related or something. I donât want to get in the way.â
âYouâre never in the way.â John smiled and pecked his lips before getting up, stopped by a voice calling him back.
âWoah, woah, whereâs my kiss, sunshine?â Thomas asked jokingly.
John rolled his eyes playfully and went back, kissing his cheek and leaving before Thomas could protest.
âThat guy,â Thomas said with a tut before turning to the remaining boy in the room. âUm... If you want, Alex, we can order some food, my treat. Itâs about lunch time anyways..â He wasnât sure how Alexander would react to the offer, knowing that they both knew about his eating habits, but it was better than ordering and just assuming he wouldnât eat.
â... Sure...â Alexander responded hesitantly. He didnât want to force himself to eat in front of Lucy and especially not in front of Thomas, but what was his alternative? To just not eat? He was trying to get better at that for John and not eating was not the way to go. So, he just ordered some Chinese food, letting Lucy and Thomas give their input on what to get, of course.
As that was happening, John made his way to Hercâs shop, heading inside and smiling at his friends as he got there.
âWhatâs going on, guys?â
Lafayette smiled as he noticed John, pulling him into the back room. âHey.. Sorry to bother you, but Francis wants to try wearing crop tops. The problem is, she only feels confident enough to try it if someone else is... Martha said she would, but sheâs on a date and Theodosia doesnât feel comfortable with them and..â Lafayette hesitated, still unsure of how to describe his own feelings. Sure, it was a nonbinary day, but feminine things still felt so.. Wrong. Not bad, but gross.
âYou donât need to explain, Laf, Iâm glad to help,â John shrugged with a smile. âThomas and Alexander should be fine by themselves for a while, especially with Lucy right there, but Iâll let them know Iâll be gone for a while.â
âYou are the best!â Lafayette exclaimed with a wide smile, pushing a few hangers against Johnâs chest before pushing him into a changing room.
John chuckled and sent Alexander a quick message before changing, getting a response a little before he finished.
[Alex: Ugh, y is sum1 always stelin u?]
[John: Francis just needs someone to help her feel better about wearing girl clothes] [John: Itâs worth it, I promise]
[Alex: Wut cud b betr tan havin u?]
John sent him a picture of himself in his plain black crop top.
[Alex: Undrstud]
John smiled and put his phone away before going out. âAlright, how do I look?â
Frances groaned. âWhy do you look better than me?â
âI do not. Youâre just not owning it.â
âAnd how do I do that, Lafayette Jr?â
John rolled his eyes. âI canât explain it, you just do. Just know you look good and that nobody else can change that. What, are you going to let some asshole who doesnât even think you should be allowed to exist judge what you want to wear?â
Frances thought for a second before nodding slowly. âI guess I see your point... Alright.â
âAlso, and Lafayette did teach me this one, posture is everything. If you walk like a bad bitch, everyone will know that you are a bad bitch, simple as that.â
Frances snorted with laughter, but straightened up her back and lifted her head anyways. âLike this?â She followed Johnâs advice and strutted across the shop with enough confidence to even make Lafayette step out of her way. And she wasnât even coming towards them.
âYeah, youâre ready. Now, we can go.â John high fived her and grabbed Lafayetteâs car keys before walking out.
âHey, I didnât say-â
âBye, Laf!â
Lafayette rolled his eyes, but smiled. Eh, they could get John back for stealing their car later. Right now he was doing them and Francis a favor.
Hello! Iâm new to your page but Iâm in love with it ! I was wondering if you could do a trans Alex x John ? Itâs alright if you donât since youâve just done a trans Alex but it was awesome and the first one I seen of yours
This is the last one left in my drafts and itâll be the past one I post on this blog. My requests and commissions are still open over at @hamiltalian-creates!
âI hate you..â Alexander grumbled, making John roll his eyes.Â
âYou kept stalling, I donât know what you expected.âÂ
âI expected you not to stab me!â Alexander whined as he held a cotton ball against the injection site. âYou know I hate needles, this isnât the way to make that any less true!âÂ
John smiled. âBut it got done. Thatâs what matters.âÂ
â⌠Youâre next.â
âNice try, but I inject my own testosterone. I have for years now, in case you forgot.âÂ
Alexander mocked John under his breath as he gave him a bandaid.Â
âAlexander, I sat here with you for almost half an hour while you attempted to debate your way out of this. I feel justified in what I did.â He kissed Alexanderâs forehead, then got up and went to the bathroom, giving himself his own testosterone shot and coming back out to find Alexander wrapped tightly in the blankets, a pout set on his face.Â
âReally?â
âDonât talk to me, traitor.âÂ
John chuckled and sat in front of him, following him around the bed as he attempted to roll away. âIâm not changing out of my binder until I get a kiss and forgiveness.âÂ
Alexander glared lightly, knowing that John couldâve very well been serious, and puckered his lips.Â
John gladly accepted his kiss and went to their dresser, changing into a sports bra. âLook on the bright side. After years of using testosterone gel, youâve just had your first testosterone injection without crying or screaming.â Both of which, Alexander swore he was going to do when it happened.Â
âYeah, because I was too shocked that youâd betray me like that.âÂ
John shook his head and pulled on his shirt. âWill a movie night and cuddling make you feel better?â
Alexander pondered on that for a second before responding. âYes. Yes it will.â
âThen movie night it is. Come on, I think Into The Spider Verse is on Netflix now.â
Alexander hopped out of his burrito and took the blanket to the couch, waiting patiently as John made snacks. As he did, he began to think, running his hand over his face. âHey John?â
âYeah?âÂ
âUm.. How long did it take for you to grow facial hair?..â That was the main drawback to taking testosterone through the gel. While it changed Alexanderâs voice, it had done nothing for his facial hair growth.Â
âI donât know.. A couple of months?â It was something John hadnât paid much attention to. Not when he just shaved it anyways. âBut youâre a smaller guy taking about the same dosage of T, it might be a bit sooner.âÂ
Alexander smiled at the thought and began imagining what heâd look like with actual hair on his face.Â
âIf you grow a beard, Iâm never letting you go down on me,â John said, the clearly joking tone in his voice making Alexander chuckle and roll his eyes.Â
âSure, you say that now.âÂ
âDude, Laf tried that back when we were a thing and it was not pleasant. I will make you shave before sex, if I have to,â he fake threatened.Â
âOkay, but Iâve gotten in more practice than Laf, so at least think about letting me try it. John, Iâve always wanted a beard!âÂ
John sighed dramatically and began walking over with two bowls of ice cream, both topped with chocolate and marshmallows, and a large bowl of popcorn. âI will consider it.â He kissed Alexanderâs cheek before turning to fact the tv as the movie started.Â
Two bowls of ice cream, half a bowl of popcorn, and two movies later, John was laying down against the couch with Alexander on top of him and a blanket covering them both.Â
Alexander rested his head on Johnâs chest, sighing at the cushion it provided. âIs this okay?..â John was definitely more comfortable in the body he was born in than Alexander had ever been before his top surgery, but that never stopped the Carribbean man from asking.Â
âItâs fine,â John said simply, kissing the top of Alexanderâs head.Â
âGood..â Alexander shut his eyes, ignoring whatever movie started playing.Â
âDo you want to go to bed?â John asked as he noticed.Â
Alexander shook his head. âNo.. Iâm just thinking..â
âAbout what?â
âHow perfect it is that we have each other..âÂ
John smiled softly, knowing exactly what he meant. He kissed Alexanderâs forehead and went with him to bed when they both began to drift off, holding him close as he laid down. âI love you..â
âI love you too..â Alexander pecked Johnâs lips before falling asleep with him, both dreaming about the perfect boyfriends that they had.
Okay, my first try at writing steampunk, this should be fun

After another day of work, John Laurens was just glad to finally lock his office doors. Even better, the next day was Sunday, a day where even doctors could take a break and hope that nobody would ring them at home. John chuckled to himself at the thought and began walking down the street, enjoying the silence of the evening.Â
It was a quiet, winter evening, silent besides the crunch of snow beneath Johnâs shoes, seeing as nobody else was crazy enough to be out in that cold. But John thought the idea of driving a carriage in this weather was pointless. What was there to stop gears from freezing up during the day or even the doors from freezing shut? So, he walked.Â
Of course, he took shortcuts where he could. An alley here and a park there. Luckily so, too. If he hadnât, he never wouldâve found who he did camping beside a garbage dumpster.Â
John furrowed his eyebrows as he came across the stranger and knelt down, gently shaking him in an attempt to wake him up. But no luck.Â
âHello?â he called quietly, though he knew that wouldnât be much help.Â
The stranger stayed in the same frozen state.
John let out a worried sigh and checked for a pulse, finding a weak heartbeat. There was hope for this stranger yet. He pulled off his own coat and draped it over the stranger before lifting him up carefully and carrying him home, just a few blocks away.Â
As he arrived, the first thing he did was set the stranger down on the couch and began removing the clothes that had become cold and wet from snow, furrowing his eyebrows as he felt his skin.Â
The right side of the strangerâs entire torso was colder than ice, as was his left leg, but the rest of him felt about as cold as one would expect a person to get. And it was no exageration. Johnâs hands kept freezing to the extra cold skin.Â
Trying to find an answer to this riddle, John removed the nearly dry undershirt from the stranger and gasped at the sight. Long gashes curled around the right side of his waist and his back, the area beneath his skin shining silver in the light of the room. John had never seen a person like this.Â
But as curious as it was, Johnâs first priority was warming him back up. He grabbed a few blankets and layered them on top of the stranger, sitting beside him as he waited for him to heat back up.Â
As he did, John brought down every medicine book he had and began searching for some sort of reason for the strange coloration beneath his skin. He found answers for silver hair, silver skin, even silver eyes, but nothing for silver beneath the skin.Â
He hummed in thought and began to try and figure out the old fashioned way, rolling up his sleeves once the stranger seemed to be at a healthy temperature. With a strengthening pulse and an increasingly pink tone to his skin, John saw no harm to it.Â
John rolled the other man to his side and examined his back, where the worst of the gashes seemed to be. He ran his fingers over the skin and found that whatever was beneath his fingers was too thin, too cool to be human skin. In fact, it almost looked like paint where it was peeled at the gashes. Not only that, but there were a few mysterious bumps around the surface which almost felt like screws..Â
So, John did what any normal doctor would do. He grabbed his toolkit and sat back in his place, taking a small, flat head screwdriver and twisting it around on one of the bumps, feeling his stomach twist as it seemingly slid into place.Â
âWhat are you?..â John muttered to himself as he turned the screwdriver. Much to his surprise and horror, the bump began to rise and the âskinâ beneath seemed to peel away like paint. A few more twists later, a screw popped out and into Johnâs free, gloved hand as he inspected it.Â
A clean screw just came out of that manâs back. And John was now determined to figure out what was really happening. A few more minutes of popping out screws and John made a perfect rectangle. Some kind of panel? He found the edges and cut through the paint with his screwdriver before popping it out of place. The sight beneath was exactly what John expected, but, at the same time.. Nothing couldâve truly prepared him for it. Gears and wires ran through this manâs body, only blocked by another metal panel about halfway through.Â
John ran and grabbed a flashlight, then sat back down with it and turned a switch on the side, shining the bright light into the mess of gears. There wasnât much more that he could see besides the fact that he couldnât see enough. So, he pulled out another panel, then a third, and watched as more and more of the complex puzzle within this man revealed itself. In all of his years as a practicing doctor, heâd never seen anything quite like this. At least, not inside of a person. All that he knew was that he wasnât getting any answers with him still unconscious. John took a deep breath before attempting to turn a few of the gears. One of them moved his shoulder, another his arm, a few more moved his leg, and one-Â
Didnât move at all.Â
âSo, what are you attached to?..â John asked himself. The only thing he could think of was opening yet another panel, so he did. He put back a few over areas that didnât concern him and took out the panels over the edge of this manâs back. And, sure, on a normal patient, this wouldâve probably been a terrible idea, but this was not a regular man. So, he did as he planned and found his problem.Â
At the base of the strangerâs neck, a gear seemed to be frozen in place, rendered completely imobile. Not only that, it was also quite rusty.Â
John took the only obvious route and carefully slid it out of place, making sure that nothing else jumped out before inspecting the piece. It was rather small, definitely not a common gear size, but it surely wouldnât be impossible to find. In fact..Â
He pulled apart his flashlight and searched through the parts that flew out, finding a close match. It wasnât a perfect match, but that was more of an issue with the design than anything. What mattered is that the size was a perfect match.Â
John carefully pushed the new gear into place and gasped as it and the ones around it seemed to come to life, turning on their own. He took a few steps back and simply watched, lost in his own shock.Â
âUgh..â Alexander groaned as he felt himself come back to life. What time was it?.. How long had Lee made him stay out now? He rubbed his face with his human hand and sighed, not wanting to face the monster that made him what he was. âI feel like hell.. At least try to act like you care about what happens to me. You already told me how difficult it was to make just one of us..âÂ
He paused for a second, waiting for a response that never came. It was then that he realized that there were a few other things out of place. The lab didnât smell like rust and grease, but like.. Cinnamon? And.. The lights werenât so blindingly bright. And, rather than his usual, itchy straw mattress, this was definitely⌠Something else. Something soft. Whatever it was called, it wasnât his home.Â
Alexander sat up suddenly and looked around, his eyes darting a few times before meeting with another pair. A pair of distressed, green eyes. He stared into them and they stared back for what seemed like hours before Alexander took initiative and spoke up.Â
âWhere am I?..âÂ
âUh..â the other stammered, taking a step back. âUm⌠Youâre in my home.. I found you outside, frozen.. I brought you here to help you.. Iâm.. Iâm a doctor..âÂ
A doctor.Â
As if that didnât raise enough alarms in Alexanderâs head, he looked down and saw a screwdriver, a rusty gear, and what looked to be one of his own panels on the ground. He sat up quickly and backed up as far as he could against the wall.Â
âIâm sorry,â the doctor began suddenly, reaching down to grab the panel from the ground to offer it back to Alexander. âI didnât.. I didnât try to hurt you, thatâs not at all what I wanted. I just..â He paused for a second and picked up the screw and the screwdriver. âI saw the metal beneath your skin and I didnât know if you were even alive or dead or if there was something I could do to help.. And.. I canât deny that my own curiosity was involved..â John beckoned for the other for lay down, so he could put the panel back.Â
But Alexander had no intentions of putting himself in such a vulnerable position, not with someone who knew the very thing Alexander had been experimented on for years. âYou know what I am..âÂ
The doctor hesitated for a second before shaking his head. âI may have seen part of you, but I have no idea what you are..â He put the items in his hands on the couch a few feet away from Alexander before moving away, allowing him to take the panel back, even if he wasnât able to put it in on his own.Â
Alexander frowned and took it, running his fingers over the smooth metal. What kind of harm was there in giving him a word for what he was? âI.. The person who made me referred to me as an android.. He found me after my carriage crashed into his own and took me to his lab, keeping me unconscious. When I woke up, it was as this..â Alexander reached back and felt the hole where the panel belonged, frowned deeply as his fingertips hit the moving gears. âI still remember it clearly.. He laughed in what seemed to be triumph and said I was the only one whoâd even woken up after such an experiment..âÂ
The doctor furrowed his eyebrows with worry. âThatâs awful.. Who is this man?â he asked as he took a few cautious steps closer. âI can report him to the proper authorities and make sure nobody else ever has to suffer through this.âÂ
Alexander shook his head and put the panel back, grabbing the screwdriver instead and turning it around in his hands. âAnd let him take the glory for saving my mobility, as well as my life?.. Heâs demented, but he would still be considered a genius..â He offered the tool to the doctor, letting him take it, and laid on his stomach. âThank you for the offer, though.. I can tell youâre sincere..â
The doctor smiled sadly and began putting the panel back in place, knowing that Alexander was right. âI assume you donât want to go back..â
âNo,â Alexander responded without hesitation. âBut.. Do you know anywhere I can stay?.. I have more physical strength than the average person and Iâve always been a good writer.âÂ
âOh!â The doctor smiled and stepped away once he was done, letting Alexander sit up. âYou can stay here! I mean.. I know what you are, Iâd have no problem learning more in order to help you, and I can support us both easily as a doctor.â He sat down beside him and hummed. âBesides, I have no wife, so it would be nice to have another person around to talk to..âÂ
Alexanderâs lips twitched into a smile. âReally?..â
âOf course.â He held out his hand. âMy name is John. John Laurens. And yourself?â
âAlexander Hamilton..â Alexander shook his hand. âYou wonât regret this.. Believe me.âÂ
Hii! I was wondering if you could write an one shot anout jamilton fake not-dating? Like, they go somewhere with homophobic people and thomas tries to protect alex from them by not talking to him or whatever and alex thinks thomas is ashamed of him and gets upset? All ends well though! Thank you for your time!
Donât forget, once my drafts are emptied, Iâm going to post all of my writing on my new blog @hamiltalian-creates, requests and commissions will be open there!Â
Tuesday, November 8. Thomas knew it was going to be a day that heâd always remember, but he hoped it was for a different reason. He was spending that night with his parents in the living room, watching the votes from the election getting counted. That night, heâd planned on telling his parents about his boyfriend, about his Alexander. Heâd hoped that seeing a woman win the election would help open their minds to such a thing as homosexuality. Sure, the woman wasnât exactly his first choice, but her opponent was a nightmare waiting to happen, both for the country and for his relationship. But every poll, the growing number of votes on the screen before them, every sign pointed towards that night being in his favor.Â
So, of course, Thomas remembered the exact moment that it all went wrong.Â
Well, to be specific, he didnât see the moment the results were announced. He was in the bathroom then, hyping himself up for the big moment. Thomas was deep in the zone when he heard his parents shouting in distress and defeat, something that surprised him. He didnât expect theyâd be so upset over their candidate of choice losing. But it didnât scare him out of his plans. Alexander meant everything to him and, if that meant getting yelled at because his parents were already upset, then so be it. After all, something like a women winning the election would, theoretically, at least give them some reason to see that their old ways werenât always right. So, he took a deep breath and marched out to the living room, stopping in his tracks as he noticed something.. Off.Â
His parents were cheering. The last thing he expected to see was them cheering over the loss of the candidate they defended with everything they had. So.. As much as every fiber in his body was screaming for him not to, he turned around, feeling his heart drop as he saw who really won. Not his president.Â
Thomasâs father clapped his hand against his sonâs shoulder. âSee, son? I told you the people would come to their senses. Now, what was that news you said youâd tell us when your lying candidate won?â he asked, poking fun at his sonâs loss. Not that he knew everything that Thomas was losing.Â
âI was just going to say I was right.. I thought the world was evolving.. Guess I was wrong,â he said, hiding a sob through breathy laughter.Â
âThe world is evolving! Theyâre finally smart enough to choose someone who knows what heâs doing.âÂ
Thomas nodded. âExcuse me,â he said hastily before dashing up the stairs and to his room, locking the door behind him. He laid in bed and grabbed a pillow, sobbing into it. As if hiding his sexual preference from the government wasnât bad enough, now Thomas had to hide Alexander from everyone he knew. All because people couldnât let a woman hold power.Â
And thatâs how he ended up at his high school graduation party, sitting by himself at the fifth table of the night. Heâd been stuck in an exhausting cycle of getting up, losing himself in the crowd, and sitting back down in any table in any direction the second Alexander found him, but he wasnât invisible. Hiding like that only kept him down for so long and people were beginning to ask questions. Worse than that, Thomas could see the growing fear and heartbreak in Alexanderâs eyes every time he had to watch his boyfriend run away. But what was he supposed to say?Â
âHey, Alexander, I was too scared to tell my parents Iâm in a committed gay relationship three years ago, yeah remember when I said I did, and now, theyâve invited a bunch of homophobes to my party.âÂ
âHey, remember when I lied about telling my parents about us? Well, now you do and theyâd kill me if they found out around their friends.â
No. Lying was just easier. Running was easier. Besides, it wasnât like he was doing it just for himself. Alexander wanted to study law or even politics, if he was given the chance. He knew Thomasâs parents were in the same area, he knew that they invited all sorts of different lawyers to a party like that, he wanted to meet them. Thomas staying away meant nobody was there to introduce him to the lawyers who so badly wanted them both to be fixed, whoâd subject even their own children to the same torment.Â
But, at the same time, how was Alexander supposed to know what Thomas was thinking? The two had been dating all throughout high school, but Alexander never once met Thomasâs parents or got invited to any kind of events, including those where Thomas just texted him all night anyways. Thomas said that his parents didnât like the fact that the two were dating, but did that really mean they couldnât be seen together for just one night? On Thomasâs big night?Â
Yet, as discouraging as it was, Alexander couldnât stop himself from chasing Thomas around the banquet hall. He couldnât stop himself from doing everything he could to confront his boyfriend, to get an answer face to face instead of just a quick apology over text about seeing some old friend or avoiding some specific friend of his parentsâ.Â
And Alexander was just as smart as Thomas, but he knew he was more clever in some ways. So, when Thomas disappeared into that crowd once more, Alexander stayed along the edge of the group and walked around calmly, smiling and pretending to socialize as he made his way around.Â
As expected, he eventually found Thomas and was able to sneak up behind him without so much as making him glance to his side. It was hard to be so calm. It took everything in his system not to drown out the rest of the party by voicing his own loud opinions, hoping to humiliate Thomas as heâd been humiliated. But he had to. It was the only way heâd get the answer that he deserved.Â
Alexander put a calm hand on Thomasâs shoulder and gripped his jacket tightly as he began to get up. âNo.. Weâre done running,â he said, just loud enough for Thomas to hear him. âJust.. Come walk outside with me.âÂ
Thomas sighed, knowing that there was no way heâd be able to run again, not with Alexander right there. âOkay..â He lead Alexander out of the hall and out to the front, glad that nobody was there to see them.Â
âWhatâs going on?â Alexander asked, his tone breaking Thomasâs heart. âYouâve been avoiding me all night and you havenât given me one solid reason why. What are you.. Are you ashamed of me?.. Are you afraid of showing them your immigrant boyfriend?âÂ
Thomas shook his head. âAlexander, no.. You have to believe me, itâs not like that.âÂ
âThen what is it?âÂ
Thomas knew there was no lying or running his way out of this anymore. It wasnât like Alexander to be so quiet, especially not when something clearly angered him so badly. It wasnât like Alexander to be rational and think his way through everything. This was Alexander in pain, a version of him that Thomas never wanted to see again.Â
âIâm so sorry.. I..â Thomas hesitated for a second. âDo you remember when I said that I told my parents about us?..â
Alexander nodded. âYeah.. It was the only thing keeping me from breaking down then..âÂ
âI know.. And thatâs why I never told you that I.. I lied.. I couldnât tell them..âÂ
Alexanderâs eyebrows furrowed in confusion. âBut you saidâŚâ he began before trailing off.Â
âI know what I said.. I couldnât tell them.. Not with a Vice President who says he wants to throw us in a conversion camp and with parents who just follow those kinds of ideas like sheep.. I was scared that theyâd do that to me, I still am, but I couldnât tell you.. I didnât know if youâd understand what thatâs like.. George and Martha are so accepting of you being bi.âÂ
Thomas was scared. It was something he rarely admitted, something he rarely felt, from what Alexander knew. Alexander wanted so badly to be mad, to yell at Thomas about how he should know better or how he shouldâve said something sooner, but he could understand. He didnât tell either of his parents when he was preparing to apply for citizenship - he wasnât even sure if they knew he wasnât technically a citizen before - and they only found out after they found him crying over his Certificate of Naturalization the day after. Even Thomas didnât find out until they called to ask him if he knew. It had been a delicate subject with Alexander since 2016, the same that Thomasâs sexuality was for him.Â
âI get it.. Iâm sorry, I shouldâve thought of that.âÂ
âNo, Iâm sorry. You shouldnât have to guess whatâs wrong with me..âÂ
Alexander smiled softly and moved to hug his boyfriend, stopping as he saw him tense up. âYou owe me a lot of affection later..âÂ
Thomas chuckled awkwardly. âIâm sorry..âÂ
âDonât be. What matters now is we both know. Weâre both happy. We have nothing to hide anymore. Not from each other and not from anyone else. But if you donât feel comfortable showing us off in public yet, I get it. I more than understand.âÂ
Thomas visibly relaxed, a calm smile on his face. He never thought that, in this day and age, heâd be afraid to show off the fact that he was dating another man, but things were the way that they were.. He was just glad, more than glad, to have a partner to understand. In their trash excuse of a world, Alexander was his treasure.

Ok so... you are accepting requests right? Could you write something jamilton with Alexander having an eating disorder? Like, not eating, lying about it and all that. Fics about my favorite characters going through what I go through helps me cope. Thank you for your time!
I hope I did this well!Â
Alexander sighed as he felt himself woke up and shifted across the bed, seeking the boyfriend that brought him the perfect amount of warmth. Instead, he almost found the floor, stopping himself only inches away from the edge of the bed.Â
âWha..?â Alexander asked himself as he opened his eyes, looking around in the early morning darkness. âThomas?â he called out, getting out of bed. Alexander always woke up first, he made sure of it. But there was no trace of Thomas in that room. So, Alexander straightened out his sweater and pulled at the drawstring of his sweatpants, then headed to the kitchen, finding his missing boyfriend moving around the kitchen, cooking.Â
âThomas, what are you doing?.. You donât cook.âÂ
The other jumped at the sudden interruption, then turned around, giving Alexander a sleepy smile. âHey.. Sorry, I just thought Iâd make breakfast for once. You always get up early and cook for me.. Besides, I thought you might appreciate a good breakfast.âÂ
I knew it, hissed the voice in the back of Alexanderâs head, the bully that made him live as he did. He thinks youâre fat.Â
âI mean, I knew your new medicine was supposed to make you lose a little weight, but Iâm starting to worry..âÂ
See? Alexander argued back to himself. Iâm thin enough, heâs just worried. âThank you, but you didnât have to do all this..âÂ
Thomas shrugged. âItâs nothing, really. Even I can make something as simple as pancakes.â He flipped a few onto a plate and put it on the table, where Alexander always sat.Â
He made me pancakes.. Iâm allowed to indulge just this once.Â
Indulge and say good bye to all the progress you made.Â
Either way, heâs going to get suspicious if I donât eat. Three full meals a day is what most people eat.Â
Yeah, people who arenât trying to lose weight.Â
People who donât lie about the huge breakfast they make themselves.Â
Alexander shut out the voice in his head, just for a little bit, and let himself indulge. He put a little bit of syrup - just a little, the pancakes were already sweet enough - on his food, then picked up his fork and cut off a piece. He took a deep breath and shut his eyes before eating it, biting back a moan. He hadnât tasted so much flavor in who knew how long.Â
You wouldnât be able to enjoy that trash so much if it wasnât for me. To him, itâs just another breakfast. To you, itâs a cheat meal.Â
Cheating. It felt more like a revival. And he knew heâd regret it later on, when that nagging voice took over and drowned out his own thoughts, but this was now. And now, he was enjoying breakfast with his boyfriend.Â
Later that day, as Alexander finished up with a shower, he checked his weight. 102 pounds⌠It was getting low, but that third digit always irked him. He sighed and actually looked at himself in the mirror. His ribs were showing and his stomach was starting to look sunken.. Same with his face. And the lack of color in his skin made him hesitate a bit. Maybe it was time to end his diet..Â
You end this now and you throw away years of progress. Besides, look at your collarbones. People always say that collarbones are sexy. And your jawline is so prominent.Â
Alexander shrugged a bit and ran his fingers over those features. He knew he should gain back his weight, there was something in him screaming that it was time to, but that stupid voice was just too loud and too powerful. Besides, what kind of freak would Thomas think he was if he found out that his boyfriend had an eating disorder in addition to his PTSD?Â
Of course, Alexander was wrong. Thomas would never think such a thing of him. But Alexander didnât know that. And Thomas didnât know Alexander was having such a problem.Â
At least, not until the recital.Â
Their mutual friends, Lafayette and Hercules, were performing in a ballet recital for their class, a class which the latter suggested, much to the surprise of most people.Â
It was actually about a week from the pancake morning. Alexander followed Thomas into the recital hall, drowning in what had once been a well tailored suit while Thomas looked as perfect as always. As perfect as Alexander was aiming to become. He was perfectly fine through the show, but once it ended.. Between standing up as quickly as he had and all of the sudden sound and all of the flashing lights, Alexander became dizzy in a matter of seconds, only Thomas noticing.Â
âHoney, are you okay?..â he asked, his voice muffled in Alexanderâs ears as the shorter man collapsed.Â
One good night. I just wanted one good night with him. And I let this stupid voice in my head ruin it.Â
Alexander felt his eyes shut as he blacked out, not having any idea how much time passed before they opened once more.Â
What he did know was that he was in a hospital room. It was dim - it mustâve been nighttime - but the beeping machines and the smell of latex made it obvious where he was. Alexander slowly sat up and looked around, biting the inside of his cheek as he saw Thomas laying down in a cot nearby. Thomas shouldnât have been there, worrying about him. He shouldâve been at home, sleeping in their much softer bed, not a care in his mind.Â
Alexander hesitated for a second before looking around and buzzing for a nurse, feeling a sense of dread in his stomach as he did. But it wasnât his. He wanted to change things, to let Thomas be there as he admitted that he needed help and wanted to get better. The problem was that stupid voice in his head. The one that was yelling at him, screaming at him to not do this, to do everything he could to leave that stupid hospital and live his life as he had been.Â
It was time to stop listening to that voice. Alexander knew that. So, as difficult as it was, Alexander finally ignored it and looked up at the nurse as she came in, speaking before she had a chance to.Â
âI have an eating disorder. Thatâs what made me pass out.. I want to get better..âÂ
The words tasted like a sharp knife in his mouth, but he got them out and that was what mattered. The nurse acknowledged what he did and promised heâd be helped and that was what mattered. The next morning, Thomas promised heâd stay at Alexanderâs side as he was moved to the rehabilitation facility and that was what mattered.Â
Alexander was going to get better. He was going to be okay.Â
That was all that mattered.__________________________________

I 100% can, but itâs going to be on the blog Iâm on now, @hamiltalian-creates. The reason Iâm posting the other one shots here and reblogging them onto that blog is just because theyâve been in my inbox for so long, but Iâd really prefer for new requests to go onto that blog instead. Thank you so much for asking and Iâm sorry for the inconvenience!
Hi! Would u do some fluff with Peggy pining for Maria? It's my otp!âĄ
Peggy sighed as she shut the front door behind her, yawning and stretching. Only a few more days and she would finally be out of middle school, a moment sheâd been counting down to all year. As usual, she tossed her backpack down on the ground in front of the couch before plopping down and taking a brief nap.Â
Only a few minutes too soon, she was woken up by the sound of the front door opening and shutting. Peggy groaned and rolled onto her back to see who dared to disturb her nap, as she saw who came in. Her two sisters, she was expecting, but the other girl with themâŚÂ
âHey Peggy, sorry about interrupting your nap,â Eliza began, smiling apologetically. âThe library was packed to the brim, so we just all decided to study here today.âÂ
Peggy nodded, trying to look anywhere but at the new girl, not wanting to be obvious. But, while she may have fooled their guest, Angelica and Eliza were no strangers to Peggyâs behavior.Â
âThis is Maria, by the way. We saw her sitting alone at lunch and sheâs cool, so we invited her over to study. You can join us, if you want,â Angelica offered, walking with the other two to the dining room.Â
Peggy immediately jumped to her feet and followed. âYeah, I have a lot of tests to study for too, I mean, I am going to high school next year, this stuff is really important,â she said, attempting to look as casual as possible, and failing.Â
Maria smiled at that. âOh, thatâs right, Eliza said you were just a year below us. I wouldnât get your hopes up too much, high school is not the dream that everyone says it is.âÂ
Peggy nodded and took a seat at the table, moving just a little to her right, closer to Maria. âYeah.. I mean, I know itâs no High School Musical.âÂ
âBesides, all of the older kids act like none of us have any sense.âÂ
Angelica laughed at that. âWhen youâre in high school for your third or fourth year and a bunch of freshmen come in, acting like theyâre the shit while not being able to find their own classes, weâre entitled to the right to call a few of you âfreshies.â Trust me, when your time comes, youâll take advantage of it.âÂ
Maria shrugged. âI guess so.â
âYou probably said youâd be nicer to the younger kids when you started middle school,â Eliza pointed out.Â
Peggy groaned. âOh, god, if freshmen are going to be like how those stupid sixth graders are, Iâm going to need a lot more than the right to call them âfreshiesâ.âÂ
Angelica shrugged. âItâs all you get, sorry Peg.âÂ
âHey, at least youâll have me and Maria there to help you get away from the freshmen next year,â Eliza pointed out, nudging Maria a bit.Â
âYeah, of course! Iâd love it if you would join us at school, at lunch or whenever,â Maria said with a smile that made Peggyâs heart melt into a rainbow puddle.Â
âThat sounds, like.. Really cool.. Thanks, Maria,â Peggy stammered out. âUm.. Donât you think that.. Like.. It might make it a little harder to get a boyfriend, sitting with a freshman and her big sister?â
Eliza bit back a laugh at that.Â
Maria shook her head. âAny guy whoâs âtoo coolâ to sit with me and my friends is too cool for me. Besides, if it does scare off every boy, I can always get a girlfriend.âÂ
Peggy just about fell out of her chair. âSo, youâre bi?â
âProudly so,â Maria confirmed.Â
âCool, Iâm gay,â Peggy proclaimed, hoping that Maria got what she was implying, but also hoping she didnât think Peggy was being too forward or anything.Â
âCool! Maybe we can both find a girlfriend and go on double dates.âÂ
Peggy swore she felt her soul leave her body and her sisters both couldâve sworn that they saw it leaking from her eyes. âYeah, that sounds great.âÂ
Maria smiled and held back a bit of laughter. âIâm just teasing you.. Once we get to know each other a bit better, I think Iâd love to go on a date with you.â
âWait, really?â Peggy asked sheepishly. âLike.. As a pity date?â
Maria shook her head. âIâm only a year above you. If youâre anywhere as cool as your sisters say you are, Iâd love to. Plus, you are adorable.âÂ
Peggy burst into awkward giggles and shook her hand. âOh.. No.. UmâŚâ
âI think sheâd love to go out with you,â Eliza said, answering for her.Â
âGreat!â Maria grabbed a scrap of paper and a pencil, writing her number down and handing it to Peggy. âYou can text me later, so your sisters canât pick on you about it.âÂ
Peggy nodded quickly and took the number.Â
Now, Peggy knew high school was going to be no picnic, but⌠She hadnât even left middle school and she already almost had a beautiful girlfriend. High school wasnât going to be perfect, but Maria was proof that it was going to be a great four years.
May I request a one shot, where Alexander and John broke up with each other and Lafayette and Hercules (as boyfriends) stay with John at his house and are just supportive friends, trying to make John feel a little bit better, just lots of hugs and fluff?
Iâm posting the remaining asks that I had on here, but after that, Iâm pretty much going to permanently move to @hamiltalian-createsÂ
Johnâs hand was shaky as he picked up his phone, but that didnât matter. He just wanted to talk to his friends. He called Lafayette and tried not to let his sobs overtake his voice.Â
âHello?â Lafayette answered.Â
âH.. HeyâŚâÂ
âWhatâs wrong?..âÂ
John could hear the frown in Lafayetteâs voice and knew that he couldnât just hide it anymore. âAlexander dumped me..â
âWhat?!â Lafayette screeched. âIâll be right over!â
âOkayâŚâ Even in his state, John knew that Lafayette was not a force to be argued with. Besides, a little company could only be good, right?Â
âHercules, put some pants on, John needs us!â Lafayette announced as he ran into the living room, struggling to pull on his skinny jeans while moving so much.Â
âWhatâs up?â Hercules asked as he got up to put on some proper pants.Â
âAlexander dumped John and heâs clearly devastated. Thatâs all I know, Iâll be waiting in the car.â The second that he was properly dressed, Lafayette grabbed the keys and went out to the car, Hercules joining him only a minute later.Â
âHow bad is it?..â Hercules asked, a bit hesitant. John was tough as nails most of the time, but when it came to love, he was hardly much more than a lovesick teenager, and his friends knew it well.Â
âI could tell he was crying, but I didnât get to ask why or what happened⌠I just want to be there and make sure heâs okay,â Lafayette muttered as he began driving. He was sure that John wasnât in any serious trouble, but the last time that he had his heart broken, it took almost a year before he would talk to anyone besides his closest friends. Nobody was there to help him heal, but, at the same time, John had never felt so hurt that he needed to talk to anyone.Â
It was only a few minutes before they got to Johnâs house and, when they did, Hercules went to the door and opened it with the key that John had given him. Lafayette had a key once, but John had confiscated it after Lafayette walked in on Alexander and John for the⌠some time in the double digits.Â
âJohn?â Hercules called out. âHey, buddy, weâre here.âÂ
He took a few steps into the house with Lafayette and found John laying across his couch, watching Legally Blonde.Â
âJohn?â Lafayette called softly.Â
Their friend looked over at them before turning back to the tv, eyes red and hair a mess.Â
âOh, John..â Lafayette muttered. He walked with Hercules over to the couch, both men sitting on either side of John. âWhat happened?.. Did he say why he..âÂ
John sighed and got up. âIâll show you..â he muttered before leaving.Â
As he walked away, Lafayette looked at Hercules with a worried look. âYou donât think he hurt him, did you?..â
âNot if he wants to live,â Hercules stated. âNobody lays a hand on our friend without paying for it.â
Lafayette nodded. âI know. If he did, I call dibs on kicking his ass.âÂ
John cleared his throat from the doorway. âThis is why..âÂ
His friends looked back and saw John⌠holding a cat? And not a pretty one at that..Â
âAlex said he was too scary and that getting a pet was too serious, but..â John paused and let out a small whimper as he walked back to the couch, sitting between his two friends. âHeâs been in the shelter as long as Iâve been volunteering there⌠I found out my boss took care of him when he first got hurt and heâs been from shelter to shelter since.. Five years as a shelter cat.. I couldnât just leave him..â John held the cat defensively against his chest, careful not to hold it too tight.Â
And, honestly, both Lafayette and Hercules could see what Alexander meant by scary, but that was no reason to dump someone.Â
âWhat happened to him?â Lafayette asked, unable to stop the question from leaving his mouth.Â
âWe donât know exactly..We just think he got hurt living on the street before someone brought him in..â John didnât really care. One scratched out eye, a half chewed off ear, and a missing paw, and the cat was still precious to him. âBut what was I supposed to do? Just leave him to live and die in a shelter?..â
âOf course not,â Hercules assured. âYou loving the cat shouldnât be a reason for Alexander to just leave you. You deserve so much better than that.â
âExactly. Besides, itâs just a cat, one that I assume you wouldâve cared for alone either way,â Lafayette pointed out. âItâs not like itâs a permanent life bond.âÂ
âI know..â John muttered. âI just thought he wouldnât care.. I thought heâd love Daveed..â
Lafayette couldnât help but crack a smile. âYou named your cat after your celebrity crush?â
John tutted a bit. âMaybe..â
Lafayette nodded and carefully pet Daveedâs head. âThat is great, but for a cat that cute, you could do better. Daveed Diggs is okay at best.â
John smiled. âYou have to get out of my house.â
Hercules nodded. âSorry, Laf, but Daveed Diggs is hot.â
âI donât see it,â Lafayette shrugged.Â
John rolled his eyes playfully. âI mean, I was going to name him Alexander, but..â His smile faded. âYeah..â
Hercules smiled sadly. âYou know what, Iâll be right back.â He patted Johnâs back before leaving the room.Â
âDid Alexander leave any of his stuff here?..â
John shook his head and sighed. âUnfortunately, no, but I do have a box of pictures and of clothes that I canât exactly donate.âÂ
Lafayette smiled. âHow would you like to hold a bonfire?â
John rolled his eyes. âI wish, but the last time we held a bonfire, this bitch down the street threatened to call the police.â
Lafayette groaned. âI knew it. Ever since they banned fireworks out here, I knew this neighborhood hated fun. I guess the fireplace works too.â
John nodded. âItâs going to have to.âÂ
âAlright, Iâve got blankets,â Hercules announced as he came back, blankets piled into his arms. âWhatâs the word on a bonfire?â
âSome bitch threatened to call the cops, weâre going to have to make the fireplace work.â
Hercules tutted and dropped the blankets on the couch, laying them out on the ground one by one. âAlright, John. Get in.â
John shook his head. âIâm not doing a blanket burrito.â
âOh, come on! Everyone loves being a blanket burrito!â Hercules protested. âCome on, Iâll even make a separate one for the cat.â
âYouâre not touching my cat,â John said, half defensively.Â
Lafayette smiled and pulled Daveed from Johnâs arms, watching as Hercules lifted John up and tossed him onto the blankets, rolling him up.Â
âWait! This is stupid!â John protested, though even he realized it was too late. âWhen I get out of here, someoneâs paying,â he threatened, though he was far from serious.Â
âYouâll thank me later,â Hercules assured as he lifted John back up and placed him on the couch. âIsnât that better?â
John tutted and didnât answer. If he had, it wouldâve either been a lie or the death of his pride.Â
Lafayette smiled and put Daveed back in his lap. âIâll get the fire started. Whereâs the box?â
John sighed. âIn my room.. Under my bed.â
âGot it.â He got up and quickly got the box before coming back and starting a fire in the fireplace, already using some of the old clothes to help start it. âSo, what have we got here?â
John watched as Lafayette pulled a stack of old pictures out of the box. âAn album of pictures that I took of us, one on every date weâve had. Burn it.â
Lafayette gladly threw the pictures into the fire and Hercules took his turn, pulling out a stuffed bear.Â
âAlexander got me that for our first Valentineâs Day and took me out to an amusement park all day. We spent our first night together that day and he respected that I wasnât ready for sex. Super burn it.â
Hercules did just that and the rest of the night went similarly, throwing things into the fireplace until there was nothing left but the box itself.Â
John sighed as it was finally emptied, closing his eyes in relief. He wasnât sure if he wouldâve ever been able to do that himself. âYou guys are the best..â
Lafayette nodded. âYes, we know.â He sat back on the couch with John, Hercules sitting on the other side of their friend. âYou know what?.. Iâm going to set you up with my brother.â
John groaned. âOh, god, not him. Heâs so stuck up and pretentious.â
âYeah, maybe according to Alexander. Trust me, youâll like him.â
Even Hercules had to agree. âI say go for it, man. Even if it doesnât work, itâs healthier than sitting here with just your cat, not that he doesnât seem to be great company.â
John looked down at said cat, which was now sleeping on his lap. âAlright, fine⌠But not now. Now, I just want to stay here with you guys.â
âUnderstood,â Lafayette hummed as he leaned against John and his thick layer of blankets. âJust know that weâll always be here when you need a friend.â
Hercules nodded in agreement. âAlways. We just know how you are when it comes to guys.. We donât want you to just shut yourself up over an idiot.â
âYou guys are right.. Iâm so lucky to have friends like you.â
Lafayette smiled. âYeah, but you earn it by being an awesome person.â
Hercules nodded in agreement. âExactly. Youâre a great guy, John. You deserve a lot better than some guy whoâll leave you over a cat.â
âThanks..â John smiled softly. Forget about Alexander. He clearly wasnât worth the tears, after all. John had friends, friends he wouldnât trade for anything else. And also a cat.

My new blog is @hamiltalian-creates, Iâm going to be posting stuff from any fandom Iâm interested in and any thing besides writing that I might do on there. I just felt it was time for a fresh start since this one has kind of died.Â
So... could you maybe do some summary about your Hamilton highschool fanfic. I mean you have 104 chapters and I'm a little late and maybeeeee too lazy to read all of them :')
No problem! Itâll be a pretty long summary, thoughÂ
Yeah, I got it to just under 1,200 words
Also, Iâm moving blogs, which all of no people may have noticed, but Iâll probably make a separate post about that
So, Alexander moved to a new school because he has intermittent explosive disorder (which is never explicitly said, but is very heavily implied) and the first thing he sees is John spray painting the side of the school. He tries to fight him for no reason, John refuses and leaves when Alexander ruins his painting. In class, Alexander pisses Thomas off and the only thing that stopped that one-sided fight after class was John. Alexander is intrigued. The next day, Alex sees John drawing his sister and asks why heâs so emotional about it and John tells him that itâs because his dad kicked him out because what is a Hamilton fanfic without Johnâs dad being a homophobic jerk? Anyways, they become a thing and Alex tries to get better - ie: actually take his antidepressants and eat something more than once in a while - because John, the first person not to treat him like anything less because of his shortness and issues, is his reason not to. He even shows John the pet rat he secretly has. Meanwhile, Laf and Herc are enjoying their own new relationship, but TJeffs keeps harassing Laf. Heâs actually a big problem and is also on Alexanderâs case once he realizes that Laf can and will kick his ass. Despite the good mental progress heâd been making, Alexander begins acting like before because of the stress and even snaps at John, which just bounces off of him, but Alexander still feels shitty about it. TJeffs corners Alex and tells him that theyâve both kissed John, which leads John to admit that they were, in fact, in a relationship the year before until Thomas tried to take things further than John wanted. He wasnât particularly forceful, but because of some past trauma, John thought it was and broke things off without explaining why. Then thereâs a lot of angst as Lafâs cat accidentally kills Alexâs rat, which gives TJeffs the perfect opportunity to get Alex with his guard down and make him slip up, Alex blames the death on Laf, and thereâs a, uncomfortable talk about Johnâs terrible past year that he kept hidden from everyone but Alex. Before that talk, though, TJeffs blackmails Alexander into almost going home with him, but thatâs resolved with basically seconds to spare. TJeffs is also causing Laf and Herc more grief because heâs in Heathers as JD with Laf as Veronica. TJeffs talks to John in class after Alex panics and tells the teachers everything between him and TJ and he admits that heâs only doing everything to get John back, but John hates him now, so thereâs that, but he also figures that things would be easier with him trying to make TJeffs leave them alone instead of Alex, so he does and almost gives up a kiss when Alex finds them and tries to fight TJeff, which is, again, extremely one sided, and John finally steps up and beats the shit out of him (more like scares him, but he does break his nose) which is a thing I forgot to mention he can do. Thereâs a bit of fluff as TJeff finally backs down as a villain and Alex meets Johnâs adorable siblings, but then TJeffsâ friend, John Jay, goes rogue and does some shit, but itâs okay because itâs quickly resolved for now. Thereâs a little more fluff with a Lams date and the Hamilsquad hangs out, then Monday comes and Johnâs sis Mary goes to their school, missing her brother, he takes her home, turns out, their dad is home early, he beats the crap out of John, John goes home, Alex finds out and, too angry to think, leaves John alone, which triggers a panic attack. He accidentally texts TJeffs who yeets himself to the apartment and helps John feel better while subtly (subtly being the key word, no more evil Thomas) trying to show him how Alex is bad (not that heâd be better, just that Alex is bad). Alex tells the whole world what happened between John and his dad, John is extremely upset because he didnât tell because he didnât want to get his siblings separated since they already lost their mom and John, they get into big fight, but quickly make up because this was based off an rp, not everything makes sense. Meanwhile, and I shouldâve put this way earlier, Alex and local nerd Aaron Burr are working on an art program for the school, Alex introduces Aaron to Theodosia, a great artist with a terrible boyfriend, and Aaron manages to get her boyfriend arrested, which he deserves greatly. Aaron, Theo, and her friends, Martha and Frances, bring about fluff and joy with help from Lafayette, who gets along very well with the girls. Then more fluff (yes, I can cause more than pain) as Alex and Thomas meet at Johnâs apartment - neutral ground - to work on the dance while John is on babysitting duty with Maria Reynoldâs daughter, Susan, and Thomasâs little sister, Lucy. Later, John and Alex do the do and it makes Alex secure enough in their relationship to see how much John still cares for Thomas and they become a poly relationship. Blah, blah, fluff, blah. blah, Thaurens date, blah, blah, everyone gets ready for the dance, Laf is Cinderella and John is Belle, both matching with their date/dates. Then John Jay comes back with a vengeance, he drugs John and brings James Reynolds, fresh out of the prison sentence that John sent him to, to hurt John, but Thomas stops it and takes John to the hospital. Alex is upset, ultimately because John only wanted Thomas there, not Alex, and when John gets out, lets his jealousy really show and runs off because he realizes it was a mistake. Martha W uses extreme mom powers to give him the strength to apologize and talk to John. Thomas is pissed because he had to wait a whole year to even talk to John again after what was, from his pov, a pretty small thing with no explanation, but Alexander gets the royal treatment after running away twice from John after John said not to do that because he needs him there. But he is mature enough to get over it. Thereâs a lot more fluff, they put on the Heathers show, and thereâs a huge opportunity for John in S. Carolina, where he was raised, at an art show over Spring Break. He goes with both boyfriends, gets closure over his momâs death, and runs into an old friend for a teary reunion. They get back, Charles Lee, Alexanderâs worst past bully, shows up at school and actually attacks Laf because Laf feels that Leeâs attacks are too childish to fight against and he doesnât want his friends to fight for him because of his own mainly untouched so far issues, while John will actually kill him if he lays a hand on Alexander. Eventually, though, Laf does fight back with Johnâs help, not that he needed it, John straight up sent Lee to the hospital. Thatâs where we stopped and Iâm not sure if I want a new, more permanent villain or keep it going in this style, hopping from problem to problem, but if anyone has an opinion, let me know
(A little while back, I wrote a rewrite of the Lee-Laurens duel where Lee shot first. It got so much positivity (especially in tags from @hi-im-e) that I decided to make a second part to it!)
(Edited by: @daflangstlairde-writes)
John Laurens groaned softly as he woke up, spending his first few conscious moments since his duel with Charles Lee in a familiar pain. The last thing he remembered was riding General Washingtonâs horse to the nursing tent... And now, he was hearing the same Generalâs voice in a harsh whisper not too far, seemingly in an argument.Â
An argument with Lafayette, John figured as he heard the French accent amongst their whispering.Â
âYou need him back! You know how close we are to winning this war, but we need more help! I did all I could to get us French assistance, now you need to admit that we need him.â
âLafayette, I know, Alexander would make a great general, but-â
âYouâve seen him on the battlefield. I donât care how childish he may behave off of it, heâs an amazing soldier. And we both know he's not the only soldier who you stress over. Both John Laurens and even myself have done worse than participate in a duel and you've given us little more than a stern talking to.â With both of them having such a low sense of self preservation, what kind of general wouldnât worry about them?Â
Washington sighed. âI donât want him near Laurens. Something about that boy makes him lose all sense and even you canât deny that.â
John finally decided to speak up. âThen send me away.âÂ
Both men looked over, shocked as Laurens sat up and spoke once again.Â
âJohn! Youâre okay!â Lafayette cheered, running to his side. âHow are you-â
âWe can discuss my health later.â He looked up at Washington. âIf your only condition for letting Alexander back in the war is a separation between the two of us, send me away. Hell, I was the one who participated in the duel. Alexander merely served as my second. Send me back to South Carolina, if you truly insist on separating us.âÂ
Washington sighed heavily. âVery well.. Now, if you gentlemen will excuse me, I have some letters to write.âÂ
The first letter, he wrote for Laurens to take with him back to his home state. A letter calling for the delegates of South Carolina to finally allow John to form the black battalion that heâd called for many times before. John was a good soldier and an even better man. He deserved nothing less.Â
Second, Washington wrote a letter asking for Hamiltonâs return to the battlefield. He let him know how close they were to winning, how he could be the one last grain of rice they needed to tip the scale in their favor. He let Hamilton know how needed his presence was.Â
And before he knew it, Alexander was back.Â
It was a hot October day as Hamilton rode back into the battlefield.Â
Before he went to see the general, though, he looked for his dear Laurens. The first place he checked was his tent, of course. John was usually up and ready even after a gunshot, as many as heâd taken during his time in battle. Hamilton chuckled to himself at the thought. John always was such a stubborn man, too stubborn to leave a battle even when he was shot. Alexander knew itâd be the death of him one day, when Alexander wasnât around to keep him from getting himself killed.Â
Hamiltonâs smile fell as he looked inside of what was once their shared tent, finding the belongings of two different soldiers in it.Â
Strange... He was sure this was where theyâd stayed.. He backed out of the tent before he could get himself into any more trouble, bumping into a broad chest as he did.Â
âAlexander! Itâs great to see you again, mon ami!â Lafayette cheered as he threw his arm around him. âIâm so glad you agreed to return. We have no chance of winning this war without your brilliant mind.âÂ
Hamilton chuckled dryly. âAlmost as great as your own, I remember you saying.. Whereâs John?â
Lafayetteâs smile fell. He knew heâd eventually have to break the news, but not so soon.. âHeâs not here.. Johnâs been transferred back to South Carolina.â
âWhat?!â Alexander demanded, turning to face the Frenchman. âYou have to be joking!âÂ
Lafayette sighed, shaking his head. âIâm afraid Iâm not.. General Washington felt you would perform better without him here to distract you. John overheard and insisted that he was transferred, if it meant you could come back to the war..â
âJohn..â Alexander muttered to himself, looking away from Lafayette.Â
âDonât be so down.. Once the warâs over, you can invite him back. Spend some time with him back home,â Lafayette reassured. âItâll be okay.âÂ
The tiniest smile began to spread over Alexanderâs face. Lafayette was right... He could spend a night with John where they could share body heat only for the comfort of each otherâs presence, rather than to survive the harsh winters. He could admit his love for John and not worry about it being the last. He could introduce John to his soon to be born son and the amazing wife who kept Alexander company when John couldnât. Maybe it was for the better.. âWhereâs the general?â
Lafayette smiled and lead the way.Â
It was less than a month later when the two friends said their final goodbyes, as Lafayette went to his home in France and Alexander to his home in New York, the war finally won.Â
Alexander wasnât too focused on that. Not quite yet. He was focused on thinking about what kind of response he would get on his latest letter to John.Â
Unfortunately, circumstances forced him to put that aside as soon as he got home. At least they werenât particularly bad. His law career was flourishing, he was elected to the Continental Congress. It wouldnât give him the same satisfaction as Johnâs love, but it sure as hell kept him busy. So busy, in fact, that heâd almost forgotten about the letter when his wife brought it back to the center of his attention.Â
âAlexander, thereâs a letter for you from South Carolina,â she said softly.Â
He smiled widely, but continued to face his work, not wanting his wife to grow envious over such a thing. âItâs from John Laurens.. Iâll read it later.â Later, when he could give it all of his attention.Â
âNo.. Itâs from his father..â
Alexanderâs smile wavered. âHis father?.. Will you read it to me?â He heard his wifeâs footsteps behind him and saw her through his peripheral vision, grabbing a letter opener and opening the envelope, reading from the parchment inside.Â
âAlexander..â she muttered after a second. âThis doesnât make sense..â
âWhat... What does it say?..â
ââAs my son returns to me, I feel I must write this letter to tell you what I know. Thinking him dead upon the arrival of your last letter, I read it myself to figure out an appropriate response, but I soon found that no response would be appropriate to such blasphemy. It took me days to decide what to write and Iâve finally decided on thanking you. John has never been right when it came to love and now that you have made it clear to me that my earlier attempts have failed, I have had time to prepare another way to correct my son. My preacher has opened my eyes to the only way of destroying this piece of the devil from inside of him, so as much as it weighs down my heart, he will be executed upon his arrival home. I also read in your letter how truly you love your own wife, so I congratulate you in finding the correct path and will not speak of the mistakes youâve made. May God bless you. Henry Laurens.ââ
Alexander was sobbing by the end, unable to stop the cries from shaking his body and wrecking his soul.Â
Elizabeth frowned and put her hands on his shoulders. âIâm so sorry, Alexander..â As much as she wanted to question the contents of that letter, question her husbandâs loyalty, she knew this wasnât the time. He was grieving, the sounds of his sobs only interrupted by the sound of a knock over at their front door.Â
Elizabeth quietly excused herself and let Alexander grieve on his own as she answered the door, shocked by the man who met her there.Â
âHello, Mrs Hamilton. Is.. Is Alexander home?..â
âY.. Yes.. Yes, please come in.â She showed the man up to her husbandâs office. âAlexander, thereâs someone who you must see,â she insisted.Â
âPlease, Betsey.. Iâm already occupied with my work,â he stated, voice void of emotion.Â
âJust turn around... Please?..â
Alexander sighed and put his quill down, doing as his wife asked and turning around, his eyes going wide as he did. âNo.. It canât be..â
âIâm here, Alex..âÂ
Alexander jumped to his feet and threw himself into the arms of John Laurens, sobbing against his chest. âI thought you were dead!âÂ
John smiled sadly, shedding a few tears of his own, and kissed the top of Alexanderâs head. âAs soon as my father began speaking about his past efforts to correct me, I ran. I ran out of the house and I ran until he couldnât find me, then I came here.. But I promise not to overstay my visit,â he remarked, glancing over at Eliza.Â
Eliza shook her head. âNonsense. You are to stay as long as you feel safe and welcome.â It was painful to think that her husband loved anyone else as he claimed to love her, but she was not a cruel woman. The way the two embraced each other, the way they cried over each other, Elizabeth knew sheâd have to be a monster to tear them apart.Â
Alexander smiled through his tears and released his embrace on John to go and hold his wife. âEliza.. Please, donât think this changes how I feel about you. I know itâs unusual, more than unusual, but I love you just as intensely as I do John. If you can find it in your heart to forgive me, Iâd love the privilege of still calling myself your husband and your love.âÂ
And, charming as Alexander knew he was, it was impossible for Eliza to stay upset with him. âThank you.. While this is a side of you that I've never known, I do know you to be trustworthy and passionate and loyal, even if apparently not monogamous. Your love for me has never wavered and I trust you when you say that this won't affect that."
He smiled and placed a quick, but meaningful kiss on her lips. He felt like the luckiest man in the world, being allowed to live with both his soulmate and his other half. And he wouldâve been lying to himself if he said it wasnât all thanks to Eliza. âBest of wives and best of women..â
Yes, very much. Iâm not sure to what degree, but yes. Personally, I havenât experienced much, but, as someone who still watches many Disney movies, I trust that I will someday. Honestly, I think finding the acting class that I took last semester was pretty magical. And getting a gift card with just enough to secretly buy my first binder.Â
hobbit; Looking back those last 4 years,is there something you regret doing?
I donât like using the word regret, but if I had to pick something, itâs letting my trauma and anxieties get the best of me all the time. I just took my first acting class, something that I have literally been thinking about for at least the past 5 years, and I found out that Iâm good at it, at least for a beginner, and that I like it a lot. Iâm practicing Sanders Sides monologues, who knows what else I could be doing?Â
spells; In what time period would you rather be living in?
Probably sometime in the future? Whenever people in power actually care about everyone and when wealthy people actually use their money for good and when people just stop hating everyone. I donât know enough about history to think of a time where a mixed queer person couldâve been happy besides the future and Iâm not sure it exists.

Analogical or Patton x Roman (I forgot the ship name oops)
(I think itâs Royality)
I have to go with Royality just because I ship Logan too hard with someone else. Plus, I feel like Patton and Roman watching Disney movies together is a very pure sight.Â
