they’re hosting a contest on insta for a new piece of merch for the current run of rtc so you KNOWW I had to join :-) i got too excited brainstorming before realizing that i dont think they intended Karnak to be included in entries (i also found out his casting might have changed from the fellow that I referenced from the trailer i found from january … i havent been up to date on this official rtc run esp since im not on instagram ever 😓) so i also have a version where hes mostly cropped out lol just in case

BEING LIMITED TO JUST FIVE COLORS WAS SUCH A CHALLENGE but i think i pulled it off!! i went for a sort of monochrome palette and used yellow/brown!!! +dark blue for lines and bg

i wanted to make a piece where jane doe was isolated from the rest of the group and landed on this. the rest of the choir are silhouettes while Jane sticks out, alone. her face/head is completely obscured by oriental lilies, representing rebirth and renewal.
