- in terms of my canon divergence, i do not write that prue has died in season 3. that being said, i will not use this to undermine the development of the other three sisters and choose instead to say that the elders recognized that the sisters would never grow into their full potential if paige was not allowed to take her place among the charmed ones. thus, prue was sent to the east coast to deal with the demonic activity surfacing there instead.
