i hate getting older. like it feels like that if i didn't do everything i wanted and set myself up for success by 19 that i am now doomed to being a failure.

and i feel like with women in particular we are expected to either be a hot 18 year old or a mother hiding in the background. that we do not belong in society or have worth as someone with interests and goals if we do not bring a "mysterious cool" or "sexy and playful" energy.

i feel like older men still see themselves in media. older men blow up and get careers later in life. these things don't seem to apply to women.

and it just makes me unsure of everything i am doing with my life because i didn't know what i wanted to do when i was younger.
