Hey Hi Hello

I’ve been on testosterone for 12 weeks now. I do shots every other week. So 6 shots total. Every time I do them, it seems like it’s harder and harder to do. I dread injections, but I’m so sure of my transition. I get very shaky and short of breath. Like almost an anxiety attack. I hate needles, but the first two injections I managed to get through fine. It’s been down hill ever since. To the point where I’ll get all set up, freak out and have to come back and try again later. Even then it takes me at least 20 minutes to work up the gumption to do it. Following, I am absolutely mentally/emotionally/physically exhausted, and on edge.

Do you guys do anything to help distract you or get you through injections? I sometimes listen to music but it doesn’t help all too much. How do you calm yourself down afterwards? I’ll take any tips you can share.
