Here we are in 2010, in a windowless room at the legendary Torn Curtain, working on "Dodge the Rubble". Almost all the equipment we owned at the time is visible in this video... Not much! You can see that Dylan and Conner don't even have microphones, and are just singing along unamplified. We spent countless hours together that summer, closed away in this room, discovering our sound... The song "Salt" dates back to this era as well... Sometimes we would even stop for a mid-day nap on the carpet, before grabbing a few cases of beer, and carrying on late into the night... We would record ourselves on a little cassette recorder, and when we biked home afterwards Devon would hold the recorder up over his shoulder, playing back the night's work so we could listen as we rode through the Mile End...
