Dead and Alive

 hello! I’m rebooting this blog!  it’ll take some time, i’m still unsure if i wanna make an entirely new blog or just clean out this current one, but for sure im starting it over and redoing my icons and everything! 

Twin AU with @fentasm !!!

★✫⋆            Getting ready for bed was probably the activity most looked forward to for the twins. Sure sometimes one or both of them would have nightmares, but thems the breaks. They worked too hard all day, every day to keep the town safe and get chores done. They deserved some rest. 

One twin was climbing into bed at what for them was an early time of the night. Allowing himself to just collapse on the blankets and let sleep take him. He called out a muffled ‘goodnight’ to his brother, hoping he could be understood well enough despite having his face pressed into a pillow. 

They had a rough day, like many other days since the accident in the lab. Ghosts just wouldn’t leave them or the town alone no matter where they were or what time it was. At least they could depend on each other, one fighting fire with fire so to speak, ghost abilities coming in handy in a lot of situations. And the other handling the ghost hunting gear like an expert, having learned mostly from their mother. 

Of course, they were probably expecting too much by trying to turn in early. More than half asleep and a familiar chill ran down his spine, a cold blue smoke expelling from the twin’s mouth. Ghosts. Why not? It’s not like they had plans tomorrow anyway or just wanted a restful night for once.

“C'est 35 degrés. Tu es fou.”

She wasn’t sure she could relate… All she knows of is the box that was placed in her home by Master Fu.

“I’m not usually one to call people out on stupid mistakes… but that was a stupid mistake.”

After digging the flashlight out of her bag, she turned it on and glanced at Danny. “Yeah?” She stared at him. “…Do you not? ..Oh wait– why would you– how could you?” She let out a laugh and shook her head. “Yeah, I make sure to keep myself prepared…well, most of the time.” It was strange how she kept thinking of Danny as a living human when he clearly was not. Of course that was just her slipping up though. No biggie!

“So when you take out these ‘bad’ spirits do you actually like…punch them or do you…exorcise them or…what?”

★✫⋆            He couldn’t help the little laugh, because well, she wasn’t wrong. Jessica’s last question even distracted him from her other one. For a moment anyway. “Actually I do punch them. But then they gotta go somewhere.”

And now to answer her other question. Though he knew she wasn’t serious about it. Danny reached his hand into a barely visible pocket  on his pants and pulled out-- a thermos. Which, looking at the pants pocket, there was no way it could have been in there. But somehow  it was. 

“So, you went somewhere blindly and tried to fix it?”
