quite kooky .. ♡

did a post 2day ab nekopara mortified that peoples view of me will be changed because of it .. i use the word “indulge” instead of engage to talk about playing it and im worried that means people will think there was some disgusting things in what i was playing .. T___T

it was just nekopara vol.1 it wasnt crazy .. i am honestly glad its a lot better than i expected .. i KNOW its a game w a bad rep but i’ll be honest ive seen people engage w the anime and the catgirl designs r soo cute imo .. and i reaaallly wanna get into visual novels so i just wanted to see how it was a decide if i wanted to continue.

ive played veerrryyy few visuals before this so its hard to say how it stands as that kinda thing but heres what i gotta say as a non writer.

it explains literally everything. 30 times over. in ur face. so. much. the mc literally has no personality other than calling the girls cute, baking, and reminiscing when they were kittens / how much they grew. now as for the way the girls r written.. ehh its the generic cute cat girl / nonhuman character trying to be human thing .. i like it though its cute, i like the moments between chocola and vanilla i love how much vanilla loves chocola i think its very endearing. i think the fluff is where the game shines because there were moments that had me go “aww” but i hated every bit that tried to convince me these girls were nothing but.. my daughters, or even just a pet.

but at the end where chocola & the mc confess bc shes “in heat” is so stupid. and having him confess as the only way to “relieve her” is so stupid and so frustrating.. its like i KNEW the endgame was for them to get together but i guess something was hoping he’d shut it down and say they cannot set up that relationship. curse thiiisss.

in the end it was an ok play, gross at the end but i enjoyed my time in the beginning and middle, i liked seeing them grow and i enjoyed the story up until chocola and the mc get together lol (and that bath scene, i hated that) ..
