Making the most of this momentum to keep practicing! 🎨✨ This time, I tried a cel-shading style with a focus on highlights and shadows.

I also used more airbrushing than usual this time, which I normally try to avoid... I'm still not sure about it. Maybe it works with this shading style...? Hmm... 💭

I also switched up the lineart this time. Last time, I used a harder pen that I usually use for manga, but this time I went with the softer pen I use for my colored illustrations. I'm still not sure which one works better yet...

This is Sonny! He was actually the first EN VTuber I ever got into. I've been a huge fan of his mama, Kachiru Ishizue-sensei, for a long time!

This time, I kept practicing muscles and water. My art style isn't meant to be super realistic, so as long as it looks convincing enough, I'm happy. 🤭

I really struggled with the collarbones this time—I spent so much time posing in front of the mirror.

I don't work out at all, and since I'm drawing male characters, I can't really use myself as a reference for muscles. Honestly, I'm never completely sure if I got it right, but I usually just think, "Okay… good enough!" and call it finished. 😂

I really liked the overall feel of the Aventurine and Jade illustration I drew a while ago. 😊 I've been trying to recreate that same feeling in different scenes.

Just a sketch. I'm practicing drawing men's arms and hands better…I really like the muscles and tendons in men's arms and hands. I think they look so cool. I love drawing, and it's been my hobby for a long time. Honestly, it still feels like scribbling in my notebook back in elementary school. Because of that, setting aside dedicated time just for practice is pretty difficult in my daily routine... So my usual style is basically "learning and practicing while working on a finished illustration."

Right now, I'm really stuck on drawing bodies—especially the structure of the body and muscles. I've never been good at drawing bodies in the first place, so I usually avoid full-body shots whenever I can. 😂

Speaking of art practice, I was drawing tons of manga last year! Manga requires so many different angles and expressions, so it taught me a lot.

Whenever I draw rain, it always turns out with a darker vibe… but I just love the sexy look of someone drenched in it! ^u^

I also tried paying more attention to guiding the viewer's eye this time. I tend to add detail to every part of an illustration, so I made a conscious effort to leave some areas simpler while putting more detail into others.
