There were a couple of groupies people were talking about but the one people think is not the one who turned into a scary stalker. The one who was the cause for the blog getting deleted is a girl that everyone thinks is super sweet. She's really good at pretending. There was concern about mental illness. She seemed to have trouble knowing what was real and what was fake.

SPG isn't anti-groupie like some people thought. She only posted about the one because the girl who became a stalker made up stories about that girl being a massive bully. It turns out that wasn't true.

Whenever the blog comes back, she wants to clear that girl's name. I think that's the only thing I can tell you that will prove that I know her whenever she comes back and posts about it.

Okay, I’m sorry, but I’m confused. If it’s easier could you make up fake names because I’m not exactly sure who is who.

I feel like I have an idea who you’re meaning by “this super sweet girl that’s good at pretending.” Which does have me a little…

She deleted the first version but kept everything she posted. Then a few months later, started it again and reposted the original posts and continued with new ones.

The account was deleted the second time but she didn't keep the blog name. Someone else tried to pretend it was her and got caught. They deleted the blog, she got the name back, made it private and then reposted all the old posts.

What do you want to know about her?

During the blog’s inactivity before deactivating, a friend of mine did suspect that she was saving all of her previous posts.

Which, I do understand what you’re saying now with the separate blog.

This is what would happen when you tried to click on the “fake spg” acc after the disappeared which is different from normal deactivation so I think that is where the confusion came from

By this I didn't mean to say she was jealous, what I meant was that she was clearly a big fan of Slash, based on her posts, and she had a dislike for his partner. At least thats the impression I got when I first saw her blog. I don't think jealousy was the case for her, bc I recall her mentioning she was a lesbian, though none of that made her behaviour any less creepy. Also, are you positive she started that page for Lucy? If that was the case, wouldn't she dedicate it to Lucy? I can't remember any post like that so I'm curious if it was earlier on before I found it. It was more of a GNR blog that seemed to diverge into Slash gossip.

She said that at one point, she started getting these really hateful comments, calling her names and accusing her of all kinds of weird things.

She was running the blog for fun at the time so she deleted it because it wasn't fun anymore. She restarted it again a few months later because someone in her life (Not Slash) asked her to. This, of course, was after Lucy passed away.

The purpose was Meegan, not Slash. The reason the blog was started the second time was because of Meegan or more specifically, how Meegan treated Lucy.

Pretending it was about GnR or Slash was just a way around it. The reason Slash was monitoring the blog wasn't because he was upset about it or wanted it gone, it was because he didn't want any of the shit about Meegan coming back on him.

Yeah, snakepit would sometimes drag Slash too but according to her, that was shit she would say to him directly. She didn't see him as a perfect guy. She wasn't going to sugar coat his flaws.

The only reason the blog isn't public and she made it look like it was deleted was because of that one groupie chick that was taking things too far. She posted before she disappeared that Slash's team asked her to take it down because there was no way she wanted to draw attention to the girl who might have been dangerous.

Those first four paragraphs are all things that line up exactly with what I know.

I do find that him not wanting any of the blog’s shit to fall back onto him is hilarious. Incredibly like Slash.

I still don’t get how it was made to look like it was deactivated because of this screenshot:

However, if you’re talking about the second snakepitgunner account that came up, that’s a different situation

And I never saw a final post either. I will admit that when I noticed the account stopped updating, I would regularly check it to see if anything came up- and I never did see anything

The groupie stuff got so out of hand and it wasn't a good look but then, when the one girl started to go full stalker on both her and Slash, it became dangerous.

What could I tell you about her without giving away her name? I'd be happy to share anything I can but nothing that could personally identify her.

The stuff about Meegan might have sounded harsh but if people knew what she'd really done to Lucy, they would understand why snakepit was going so hard. I'm sad to say, I've heard some horror stories and it has nothing to do with anyone wanting to be with Slash.

If it seemed like she was overly aggressive towards the end, that had nothing to do with Slash or his team. It was because someone was pretending to be her friend in order to get her to post about one of the groupie girls and then tried to use the blog to get her own name out there too because the girl found out Slash knew about the blog.

I have no idea if Meegan knew about the blog. I never got any information on that.

The real reason she deleted the blog is because the girl who pretended to be her friend was getting so aggressive with trying to get information about Slash that she though the girl had turned into a stalker.

Which we now know she had.

Slash, not his team, Slash told her to take a step back because he was worried about her safety. Not only was he not upset about the blog, he told snakepit she could repost everything in future if she wanted.

The blog still exists. It's a private account now. Eventually, everything will be back up. It won't be anytime soon but eventually. Nothing was truly deleted. Just moved. It was only down for a while.

Someone else tried to use the name and then got caught so snakepit took it back and privated it. It's got all the old messages, posts and pictures.

Sorry this is so long but she's my friend and I'm not going to let people talk shit about her. Thank you for standing up for her too. I'm glad you're being so nice. A lot of fans weren't.

Huh, a good chuck of this is a first for me. Majority of everything I knew was rooted in rumor and speculation. Which, if you are her friend, I do apologize but I am taking this all with a grain of salt.

From what I’ve heard, Slash found out about her because he was made aware of the blog by some other means, which then led him to wanting to know who was behind it. Others have noticed that she had switched up her story about her relation to Slash.

With the whole “groupie girl” thing, I know all too much about that whole situation. It was messy and overall just disgusting. If you do know who was behind that, I’d like to know if you’re able to share.

I do find it a bit interesting that Slash didn’t care about what snakepit was posting considering she drug his name too. She was a gossip blog though and through.

And, correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m fairly certain that account was deactivated? I remember the fake snakepitgunner who came up, they didn’t last long at all.

Meegan apparently wasn't aware of the blogs existence, nobody was initially since it was pretty obscure, I came upon it accidentally for example. I think almost definitely it was when Scarlet was made aware of it, she likely informed the right people, probably Slash's PR team who then pulled the trigger, but it didn't seem like Meegan was aware or involved. Still possible though. I cannot verify any of this just like with my first ask, so be skeptical.

Also I'm actually glad she's gone tbh, it could be good for her mental health. Not trying to be mean, but a lot of what she started posting in the last weeks just seemed downright hateful and sometimes concerning, some of it was just plain delusional like I had said, made me wonder if she was okay. A girl who sits online trying to slander a woman who was grieving the death of her child bc she likes the guitarist that woman is with is someone who needs help, and hopefully she's getting it.

Ah alright then. I never knew who exactly knew and who didn’t. It does make sense, Scarlet and Lucy were really close. Whatever events led to up to it, I don’t think anyone can be sure of, but I’m almost completely sure Slash’s team pulled the final straw.

I’ve always hated the “you don’t like *rockstar’s partner* because you like *rockstar* and you’re just jealous” because that certainly wasn’t the truth, at least considering snakepitgunner. I do recall a post saying all her whole reason for starting that page was because of Lucy. I can also confidently say that certain things Snakepit was saying were not just baseless accusations. Meegan losing Lucy will never erase all of her other actions.

Someone found the page, shared it on her student group chat for laughs. Turns out, a girl on that chat went to school with Lucy, knew her family and Meegan well (there was a whole thing here, long story). Either she or someone else sent the link to Scarlet or they talked about it idk the details, and soon after that, Snakepit was gone. I'm assuming that caused it.

I LIVED for the drama on that blog ngl but then I noticed anytime someone asked for proper proof of the Meegan claims, Snakepit would just lash out and start insulting them lol she'd never actually answer the questions. It was funny at first, then it started to kinda put me off when I saw how rude she was, also major delusional vibes. Like I said, I'm speculating based on what I saw and was told, and the blogs been deactivated for some time so I'm sure I left something out bc I can't remember everything.

Huh, I can’t say I’ve heard that one before. The running theory I’ve seen when talking with others is that Slash’s team keeps an eye out for stuff like this to keep Slash’s name “clean.” Though, it does seem pretty apparent a few people in relation to him knew of the blog’s existence. Snakepitgunner crossed a line that shouldn’t have been crossed (likely regarding Meegan) which led to the accounts deactivation.

Personally, I think it was Meegan pushing for the accounts termination more so than Slash. He just made it go though.
