I also baked an EXTREMELY good cake on Saturday and am realizing... I will be doing that more often

I watched all of the sopranos and I gotta say... it upset me a lot and I loved it.

you know who I love to host in my home? lyle. she is a great houseguest and friend. 

cindy Crawford got spayed the day after Christmas and it’s been a challenge waiting the 14 days before allowing her to run free outside and play at the dog park bc that really is something that keeps her happy and sane... so she’s been working my nerves a little bit but I know it’s because she is going out of her mind without her favorite outlet... she’s a puppy! anyway in 2 days we can go and I am so excited she’s gonna lose her mind, in a good way, and the home will normalize. Not that there hasn’t been like continued progress in her development and adjustment, she is learning things all the time still, she’s totally mastered lie down, and the other day when she was bugging me and I was busy I said go get your piggy and she went to the other room and got her piggy... she doesn’t do this reliably but I can tell she is learning! last night my friends put their dogs upstairs and let me bring her over to hang out in the living room, and then after a while one of their dogs came downstairs, the one less likely to get outta control reacting to a new dog... and he was reacting but we made significant progress which is good bc this dog is one of my best dog friends... my friend who is his mom was like he’s reacting now but I know this reaction and the way she is responding to it (my dog is like... not frightened by dogs reacting to her but will keep a wide berth and give space, she is very good about it and like exceptionally good at responding to warnings for a puppy, just like w the cat) means that if we get them some time together at the park and he gets to know her they will be playing together fine. which is great bc I love this other dog and he has a lot of really good behaviors that I think can be a positive influence on cindy! dogs are so fun because they learn all the time, which is also what makes them challenging, bc you can accidentally teach them an idea you don’t want them to hang onto and it’s easy to take steps backward in certain areas while making progress in other areas.
