I've experienced a ton of growth with my art in the last few years and Chris has experienced just as much character growth !!! He was pretty hard to use for a while after the way my ex played with him but I finally feel like I'm getting comfortable with him again. He even has a ship again !!! I'm really excited and really happy and just super stoked to play with this loser again.

This art itself turned out really marvelous I genuinely wasn't expecting it to turn out like SO well. I had a great time. I'm proud of successfully using a reference with no tracing even if it's not much like my usual style !! I also know now that less is more and how not to distract from an already dark piece with a busy photo background.

I also don't know what I was doing with the super bright eye like I know I wanted a glowy effect but it just straight up did NOT work out. Idk. I'm very very happy with how the values turned out and how it's not all simultaneously muddy and bright and dark at once like the old one. I gotta stop rambling I could go on and on forever....
