WAIT- I just realized writing would be easier if Amane’s sister died instead of her mother.
Amane would act selfishly to realise her sister’s altruistic ambitions of becoming a Jujustu sorcerer & ‘saving humanity against cursed spirits’
It’s so funny that Amane, who doesn’t much pay attention to the world outside her mental bubble, would casually spend her entire lifetime working towards someone else’s dream that benefits other people.
and her backstory/ side-story doesn’t have to play an active role in the main plot anymore which i didn’t really want to do anyway
Amane & her cold calculating take on helping others

Toji has a theme song and it sounds like ass. If you listen to the OSTs for all the fights he’s in, it’s that unmistakable flute sound that plays its own separate tune, ignoring the rest of the music playing in the back.
It’s loud, and the resonance completely disrupts the rest of the music until it disappears and you’re brought back into the action once the rest of the music comes back in harmony and it sounds awsome again.
I don’t listen to a lot of music, but I typically associate flutes with long, fluttery notes, but Toji’s leitmotif sounds so foreign and weird that I’m not even sure if it’s a flute playing.
The notes sound short (?) and it sounds like there’s gaps between them, like the person playing the flute is only breathing out one note at a time. The echo emphasises it. It almost sounds round, and the way it disrupts the rest of the music is almost like there’s holes of utter void that appear throughout the music. It’s almost like the sound is describing how heavenly restriction interacts with cursed energy and cursed techniques in the story.
and fate too i guess (thank you tengen)
EXAMPLES:
Delirious (1:01 - 1:20) (Gojo vs Toji)
With Rage (Geto vs Toji)
Physical Prowess (1:27 - 1:45) (Toji vs Dagon)
未だ知らず Still Unaware (1:16 - 1:32) - Slowed piano ver.
ive been working on a wip but im so busy at work, it sucks. sucks so bad that words fail to express the consuming void in my chest
i just wanna ask, where do people find/ make the tumblr banners that make your posts super pretty??? i dont want my posts to look ugly anymore ugh i cant even look at it

projection sorcery ain't special. Anyone could run down a planned path it's called a race
Heh, that’s cute. You’d be lousy at projection sorcery.
It’s more than just a “planned path.” I have to break down every single second into 24 frames while fighting opponents. That’s 1440 frames per minute of fighting.
On top of that, every frame has to be unique and can’t go beyond my physical capabilities, or I risk freezing myself.
And if that wasn’t impressive enough for you, I have to mentally plan out my opponents’ moves too, to avoid any possible attacks during that second. I just make it look easy.
Amane isn’t a teacher but whatever, it should be the responsibility of every professional sorcerer to guide up and coming, promising sorcerers.
I find that a lot of adult sorcerers often mentor at least one sorcerer who is a grade below them. If Nanami was dragged into mentoring Yuuji, it might be canonically sound to expand her relationship chart with the students too, based on sheer proximity as his fellow former classmate.
I thought it would be nice for her to mentor Nobara ⚒️ (though, after thinking about it more thoroughly, their cursed techniques counter each other—>Nobara does soul damage and Amane reacts badly to souls), but idk.
Amane is pretty jaded/ detached about the typical gore and cruelty of being a jujustu sorcerer. She’s had 10 years of experience atp (2018); slightly more if you count her clan. there’s still a flicker of frustration or resolve building behind her eyes which reflects her humanity, but the part of her brain that processes that trauma is dulled.
I need someone who would appreciate that almost instinctual, protective warmth she gives off when they’re under her care. she’s sensitive to other people’s emotions. she’s the kind to check on you, keep things light with playful chatter, and even be lenient to a fault—readily cleaning up your messes during missions while complaining throughout. And she’s hoping you don’t ask too many questions, and keeps certain aspects about herself away from you
On the other side, Amane needs to be able to understand & form a connection with them. Maybe someone that already has their own motivations set in stone and knows how to go with the flow.
The Koseki Clan (古関家) is a declining sorcerer family that uses sealing techniques against cursed spirits.
Their seals can last from decades to centuries, retaining exceptional durability and resistance to deterioration which almost perfectly preserves the cursed spirits sealed even long after the user passes—a unique property of the Koseki clan’s inherited cursed technique.
Only five clan members remain currently, and each of them possesses (or represents) a unique variation of the inherited cursed technique, allowing them to create seals by channeling cursed energy through different mediums.
This clan has existed since the Nara period in Shiogama, Miyagi Prefecture serving as a pillar of protection in ancient Jujustu Sorcery during their prime.
Three most important clan members:
Amane Hozuki (using her father’s last name): First-born child. Beloved young lady & the only potential heir connected to the Koseki bloodline. Refuses to return home. Doesn’t know what a driving license is.
Kojima Hozuki (Clan head): Mastermind behind the cursed user gang operation. Adopted into the family via marriage. Unknown past. The Koseki clan took his million dollar net worth after his wedding ceremony. Inherited the Kusanagi no Tsurugi even though he is deprived of the ability to use any sealing technique. The clan members frequently plot against him.
Ayane Koseki (Overseer of Estate Affairs): Paranoid and smothering. LOVES spoiling Amane and answers to all her requests but needs to stalk everything she’s doing at all times. Anything that happens to Amane goes through her first. Keeps Amane out of anything related to finances. Forced her bodyguard (‘Yuzume’) to follow Amane everywhere outside the family estate. Amane learned how to cook & prepare full meals after Ayane stopped trusting the Koseki clan to not poison her food.
Kanna: Abandoned child. Has the Clan Head’s favor. Was given every opportunity to rise up the ranks and gain control of the Koseki clan. She was supposed to be left abandoned at 6 years old, but Amane begged to make a binding vow with her. 6-year age gap between her and Amane. Used to be babysat by Amane.
The Koseki clan values immortality. And this stubborn belief that they desperately cling to has jeopardised many of their political relationships. They believe that the Koseki clan’s inherited cursed technique can achieve a form of immortality, by making the user the conduit that turns mediums into seals which would embody and immortalize the user’s legacy once it far outlives them.
Despite having only a handful of clan members from their direct bloodline, the clan runs a full cursed user gang operation to avoid assimilation with other clans. They target desperation by promoting luxury, comfort and security only if they agree to contractual insubordination to the family forever. They use these people as bodyguards, or servants sometimes, and attach these cursed users to the clan with a binding vow.
The Clan Head uses a shikigami which cursed technique can imitate cursed spirits. It’s able to change its form and imitate cursed techniques to a certain extent, under the condition that its paralysis venom is injected into the cursed spirit and the cursed spirit stays alive. It stays with the user in the form of a tattoo resembling a centipede. This shikigami is able to divide itself into segments, allowing the Clan Head to share its abilities with more than one user while retaining remote & priority control. e.g., the shikigami would override orders given by the cursed user with the Clan Head’s and take it as a priority.
The cursed user harbouring the shikigami’s segment under their skin is able to summon an imitation of a cursed spirit and use it as a weapon.

Satoru Gojo keeps the entire universe at arm's length, which makes it terrifyingly obvious when he forgets how to let you go.
Satoru is an incredibly tactile creature. For someone who walks through life with an invisible barrier separating him from the rest of the world, he has always possessed a profound, almost contradictory, need for physical contact.
You learned this very early on in your friendship. Satoru uses touch like punctuation. He drapes his long arm over your shoulders to announce his arrival. He presses his chin into the crown of your head when he's bored. He throws his full weight against your side on the couch when he wants your undivided attention, acting like an overgrown, lethargic cat until you inevitably cave and put on the movie he wants to watch.
You've never minded. In fact, you've grown to love it. Satoru's hugs are warm and nice. They are just another part of the chaotic, exhausting, brilliant package of being his best friend.
Until recently.
You can't pinpoint the moment the change happens, only that the ground of your friendship has slowly started to tilt. It isn't anything dramatic like a sudden confession or grand romantic gesture. The seconds between you just stretch on longer than they are supposed to.
It happens tonight in your tiny kitchen. The glowing numbers on the microwave read 1:14 AM. Rain is drumming against the windowpane. Satoru had keyed himself into your apartment about an hour ago, fresh off a three-day mission. He hadn't said much, just kicked off his shoes, shucked his jacket onto the floor, and folded his massive frame onto a stool at your kitchen island.
He looks exhausted. The dark sweater he's wearing clings to his broad shoulders, and his blindfold are pushed up into his stark silver hair, showing those striking blue eyes.
"I made hot cocoa," you murmur, turning away from the stove with a steaming ceramic mug in your hands.
"You're a lifesaver," he sighs. His voice is low, stripped of the booming confidence he parades around his students and the higher-ups.
You set the mug down in front of him. As you go to pull your hands back, Satoru slides off the stool and steps into your space. He's so incredibly tall, easily towering over you, but he doesn't feel intimidating. He just looks very tired.
"Welcome back," you say softly.
"Mhm." Satoru leans forward. His eyes slide shut, and Infinity disappear.
He wraps his arms around you, drawing you against his chest, and buries his face into your hair.
This is the routine post-mission decompression hug. You know the drill. You wrap your arms around his torso, resting your hands against the expanse of his back. You gently pat him a few times. Usually, this lasts for about five seconds. He inhales deeply, lets out a dramatic sigh about how awful the higher-ups are, steps back, and drinks his cocoa.
One. Two. Three. Four. Five.
You wait for him to step back.
Six. Seven. Eight.
He doesn't move. In fact, his grip on you tightens. His large hands, usually resting lightly against your shoulder blades, slide down the curve of your back. He flattens his palms against your waist and pulls you closer.
There is zero space between you now. You are pressed completely flush against him. You can feel the heavy rhythm of his heartbeat against your chest, so strong it seems to echo in your own ribs. You can smell the petrichor of the Tokyo rain, the lingering scent of old violence, and the sweet body wash he uses.
Your hands, previously lying flat against his sweater, curl into the fabric.
Nine. Ten. Eleven.
The kitchen is perfectly silent, save for the rain sound. The atmosphere in the room grows heavy with unspoken things. It feels like stepping right up to the edge of a cliff and looking down.
He's just tired, your mind rationalizes frantically. He just needs comfort.
But the way his thumb begins to trace the dip of your spine suggests otherwise. The touch burns straight through your shirt. The casual looseness of his usual hugs has turned so intimate.
Satoru dips his head, his nose brushing against your cheek. The friction sends a shiver through you.
He has to feel it. He can undoubtedly hear the way your heart rate has doubled. He knows exactly how this proximity is affecting you. He knows exactly what he's doing.
Yet, he still doesn't pull away. He merely sinks further into the embrace, hoarding your warmth like a man starving.
"Satoru," you say carefully.
"Just a minute more," he whispers. His voice vibrates against your skin, dark and velvety. "Don't move. Please."
You don't. You couldn't even if you tried. You loosen your death grip on his sweater and slowly, tentatively, slide your arms upward. You lace your fingers softly into his snowy hair.
Satoru makes a quiet sound at the contact. His arms caged you firmly against his body.
You stand there, wrapped in the strongest sorcerer alive, the lines of your friendship blurring, warping, and unraveling in real-time. Neither of you says a word about it.
But as the minutes tick by, and Satoru finally, reluctantly pulls back, you know you can never go back to just being friends.
Thinking about Satoru sitting alone in his apartment. TV off, no music on, watching the birds outside.
And wishing he could actually do something.
Because for all he does for the world, for people, for his students - he's ultimately just another piece of the machine.
He couldn't save Suguru. Couldn't help Hakari. He saved Yuuta and Yuuji. None of it really means anything. He may be the strongest but it has no real concrete meaning because the system that hurts people continues to exist, and he's helping it. Because he doesn't know what else to do
And then he has to go be Gojo Satoru. The one everyone knows - laughing and joking and being obnoxious. It's all he can do
The easiest way to explain it is that the user is able to condense cursed energy and store it into specific mediums/vessels. I call it Sealing.
Applicable to:
Cursed spirit(s)
Cursed energy & CE residue
(Cursed?) Objects
However, the user needs a highly specific kind of vessel.
My OC has this whole glass theme going on—it’s ethereal, deceivingly fragile, and pretty nice to look at. E.g., the user limited to glass. That makes Ijichi’s glasses, his car window, a fish tank, etc.. readily available vessels 💯
and the vessel turns into stained glass at the end of activating the cursed technique. AND and they resemble cards in a japanese playing card set, a Hanafuda card. (**this will be important later)
I guess its more like a defense-support type ability ? like how jujustu sorcerers reinforce their bodies with cursed energy to minimize damage? that has to be condensing, right??
The CT does not allow anyone (including the user) to easily break or open a sealed vessel at will, and my OC—her name’s Amane btw—can’t break her own seals without maybe a cursed energy buff from a binding vow.
so no do-overs, or convenient infinite pocket glitch! 😐
Specific limitations:
No humans.
There is a small % chance that the cursed technique will fail. Cursed spirits above said user’s grade, sealing another cursed user’s entire CE reserve, or most things that require more than the user’s CE output will cause the seal to shatter.
Some things are just too big to condense all at once and it ends up becoming like those stuff they put under a hydraulic press :/
The user needs to carry glass around, and can be very limited by their environment.
CT has no fixed radius. It relies on the user’s precision and CE control. The size of the medium also doesn’t affect how much can be sealed into it.
binding vow (with yourself) (≧▽≦)
(**this is where the cards detail becomes more relevant)
The user limits the number of times their CT is activated. In return, the user is granted a higher cursed energy output in order to break a sealed vessel. This can only be maximised if they use their cursed technique exactly four (4) times.
Detailed ver.
My OC makes a binding vow to increase their cursed energy output by significantly reducing the number of times they activate their cursed technique.
Breaking a sealed vessel creates an offensive move that rapidly releases everything tightly stored the sealed vessel. Depending on how the effect is maximised, that’s a CE buff on top of the condensed cursed energy that comes out of a seal
The user experiences their cursed technique in rounds/cycles.
They cycle through 48 seals (the max. limit) and accumulate chances. After successfully activating her CT every four times, she gains a chance to break one (1) seal.
You can accumulate a total of 12 consecutive chances to play offensively.
The cursed energy buff from the binding vow becomes weaker the more you use your cursed technique.
ik the conditions make it pretty easy to maximize her cursed energy output, but sealing stuff is like her bread and butter..
Domain Expansion: Yata No Kagami
A passive domain that transforms its barrier into several planes of mirrors that will reflect and ricochet any incoming attack.

Hiya! I thoroughly enjoyed your Suguru romantic HCs post, it truly dove deep into the more understated side of his character in a way I've rarely seen!
You wouldn't happen to have a few HCs you could share about Satoru Gojo, would you? Perhaps one general one, one dealing with touch, and/or one about subtle intimacies?
Ah I’m so glad you enjoyed them! I do love bringing these sides of certain characters out as they can sometimes be understated like you mentioned!
I actually… *tucks nonexistent hair* I have some HCs for Satoru Gojo.
Fun fact: Gojo is what got me to watch JJK. I was only a manga reader at the time but boy oh boy, that blue eyed man got me good 😭
Anywho, here we are!
Domestic life with Satoru!
He loves watching you exist.
Cooking, reading, folding laundry. If he can, he’ll just lean on the nearest hard surface and stare with that cheesy little grin . Not in a creepy way (admittedly you might think it’s creepy when you first get together). But in a “I can’t believe I get to have this” way.
He is incredibly sentimental over the most mundane things
A little doodle of yours on a scratch piece of paper? Now in his wallet.
A hair tie you forgot at his place? He’s keeping it in his pocket.
A wrapper from a piece of candy you shared? It’s now part of a gift for your 6 month anniversary. They aren’t displayed but easily accessible so he can just look at them sometimes.
Satoru and Touch (A complicated relationship)
Touch is overwhelming for him. He feels everything so it’s practically imperative that he keeps everyone at a distance.
Except for you of course. His exception. Now, all touch from him means something.
Hand holding, a kiss to the forehead, pulling you into his chest so he can bury his nose to exist within the scent of your hair..
It’s devotion, it’s meaningful and he doesn’t do any of it lightly.
With that in mind, here are some more soft physical/intimacy moments I think are worth mentioning:
-Slow kisses turn him feral because he’s not used to gentleness. He can’t stop from just wanting to be consumed by you.
-He presses his lips to your pulse points when he wants to feel close. When the heat from your body pulsates, it makes him feel alive.
-He loves being held, but he’ll joke about it every time. “So… nice night we’re having.” He props himself up while you get comfy in bed, waiting to curl into you like a cat the moment you give him the signal.
-He sighs like he is finally at peace when you run your hands through his hair. The first time you do it, he looks up at you with this stunned, boyish expression like he wasn’t expecting it to feel so good but he’s too shy to ask you to not stop.
Now something that I’ve always thought about (and an idea for a short fic I have) is how he lets himself depend on you.
He lets you hold him.
He lets you see him unmasked in the rawest way.
He ask you to stay when he’d usually make someone go.
He tells you when he’s feeling lonely. Something he’s use to pushing down.
Dependence is something he gives not a soul. But now that you exist in his life, he has built a second heart around you.
I hope this is what you had in mind!
I love you Gojo babes ✨
