Calories *are* fuel………I don’t understand what point this is trying to make.

The point is to eat to fuel your body. Yes calories are fuel but some people get so caught up in calorie counting that they miss the importance of nutrients and eating intuitively. The point is to eat what your body needs and don’t focus so much on the amount of calories because what you’re eating is more important than the amount of calories in that food.
