i actually really needed this

When i overdosed a few months back, as my mom was driving me to the hospital there was a moment where literally in the blink of an eye i went from feeling like death to feeling completely fine. Because of how abrupt it was, i was convinced that I had actually died and was living in some sort of afterlife for a solid two weeks (i have issues with dissociation and when they act up it sometimes feels hard to grasp what’s reality). During this time period i saw one of those types of posts and to put it lightly i had an off/on panic attack for three days. I wish i had seen a post like this during that time.

Being honest i didnt even know there were people who dissociated as hard as i did. I have a really hard time understanding that things are real at times. But with my dissociation everythinng feels like a game, i guess thats how my brain tries to understand it. When i went to therapy and i tried to explain what i felt to my therapist i ended up making her cry because she had never heard about it and didnt know how to help me. Post like this help a little to deal with it. But knowing there are people who have a really hard time like me makes me feel less lonely like im not the only one going crazy..
