a deep breath. meredith grey is fully focused on her bony hands, all covered in white, bubbly pattern. another deep breath. she knows the procedure by her heart. step by step. every blink of her eye is planned during this surgery. though some unplanned doubts haunt the clear view in front of her. the doubts caused by her one and only friend ; cristina yang. meredith won’t be discussing that right now, especially not with derek and his mcdreamy glance of ‘better don’t mess it up’.

on-call room ; the craziest thing happened to me today. some random man approached me and asked me if i was a model bc i looked like one. he started to compliment my eyes, the bone structure of my face, my teeth etc. etc. etc. and my poor, fatty self with a freakin wide smile just nodded and asked if he wanted an autograph. he was so so happy after that .... ( man ... have you ever seen like ... a magazine ? and like ... women in there ? c’mon. ) CALL ME KATE MOSS. ( jk. i’m meredith grey, duh )

“oh, you’re right. we should STOP meeting at all. it has a bad reflection on my judgment as a doctor when the only thing i can think of is ... YOU. so yes, we gotta stop meeting like this.” at the end of her speech meredithgrey leaned back, slowly. her sore back touched the cold wall. her well-structured face, as if commanded by some sort of temptation, tilted to a side along with the smooth move of her head.
