          IF THERE was one thing above all else that she hated, it was waiting. personally she was always either a few minutes early or right on time whenever she had anywhere to go and she often forgot that wasn’t the case for everyone. so, leaning her back against the cool, brick wall she pulls out and begins to light one of her last few cigarettes. her heel taps on the concrete as she stands, dark eyes searching the dimly lit ally way.           “IT’S ABOUT time you showed up,” she breaths, smoke pooling out from behind her lips. out of courtesy, she turns her head away from the taller man so she didn’t blow the smoke directly onto him. “why did you say to meet here again?” kameko asks, having already forgot what it was the other mentioned before.

          CURSE HER likeliness to pass out easily and almost anywhere. she never knew why she was always so tired recently, maybe she was getting sick or something, but either way it wasn’t the first time that she has fallen asleep in the middle of class. kameko curses lightly under her breath as she wakes just in time for class to be dismissed, only to hear that there would be some kind of quiz come the next day.            LOOKING AROUND, the girl strains her neck to try and find a certain someone. eyes lighting up and a smile grazing her lips, she stands from her desk quickly. “hey, lucien !!” she calls, almost tripping over her desk to catch up to the other.

          THE FEMALE didn’t like admitting she had moments of weakness no matter what it was or what was going on. during any kind of battle training was one thing, the last thing she needed was for anyone to see her not in her best condition but even just on a normal day to day basis, she never admitted that she wasn’t feeling well because she didn’t want to make people worry. this was probably why her uncle got annoyed with her so often.           A LOUD sneeze leaves her followed by a grumpy groan as she closes her eyes and tries to ignore whatever allergies or illness that was wearing her down. luckily for her she at least always looked tired or dead anyway so most people didn’t seem to ask that much. “god, i hate sneezing... or feeling like i constantly have to sneeze.”

          “SOMETIMES I wish i could just transfer to the general department...” the girl sighs, leaning back against the wall behind her. stress was eating her alive from all the events class 1-a had been through in the past year. “i just need a nap or something and i’ll be fine. i don’t mean to complain.”

          “MY FAVORITE kind of day is when it’s gloomy like this. not necessarily raining but a nice cloud cover like this,” she explains, glancing up at the sky as the two continued their walk. “speaking of rain and storms though... i wonder how strong kaminari’s quirk would be during a storm since there’d be so much electricity in the air.”

          “Y’KNOW...” THE younger girl trails off, eyes darting around the heavily crowded cafeteria as the hero courses broke for lunch before returning to their mundane classes. “sometimes i wish i was as tall as you so i could see over everyone in moments like this.” and other things. the height would come in handy when she was arguing with a certain parental figure so she could look him in the eye. 

          KAMEKO NODS her head a few times, a soft hum leaving closed lips. “exactly. besides, people are generally assholes from those i’ve interacted with and they don’t need much reason to judge you. some go as far to find a reason to judge if they really want to. seems like a waste of energy to me but whatever.” clearly, the girl wasn’t in the best of moods today.

          IT WASN’T often that kameko found herself out with a classmate, let alone someone she actually kind of considered to be her friend ( or at least just a good guy ). “what do you think about this one?” she asks, turning to face the male as she reached behind her neck to put on one of the necklaces she had been looking at.
