there's the silver lining I've been looking for

“I might have arranged a lunch date with th- I mean your new captain. She and I go way back. I personally inspected her broom before the championships last year. Don’t worry, I promise I didn’t let it slide you were my niece until after. I could have, but I didn’t. The only upside to us not sharing last names.” He loved the Weasley clan, but deep down he knew they had a brash insensibility that was found in its purest form inside Prewett hearts. Flashing her a toothy grin he set her down again, a frantic energy seeming to roll off him in waves as he staunched the flow of babbling. 

Instead, he focused on her, seeing her as she was. It was so easy to see his nephews, and especially his niece, as children. Small as they were when they first met, but if he tried he could focus and see them as they were. Ginny was grown now and on her own path. Where he thought jealousy may lay, jealousy over watching her achieve his dream, there was none. All he felt was pride. “You did it.” 

          Ginevra was always impressed hearing who it was he went way back with as a kid, it seems to not have changed. When he said that he went to lunch with the,  or,  her new captain -- she couldn’t help but have her smile widen across her face... even if the two fo them were on a team now.

The night sky hung above, the soothing sensation of the cold kissing his exposed skin and breathed quietly beneath the stars. The comfort from which Harry took in the silence of the night, bringing him peace and without begging from people. Perhaps that might have been cruel, though, even he needed space from time to time to gather his own thoughts. 

Back arched against the wall, emerald hues reflected the moon staring back down at him and gave a slight shake of his head.

“You know…” 

“It isn’t polite to spy on someone. You can come out, I won’t bite you know,” Lips twitched into a faint smile. 

             Whenever Ginevra was unable to sleep she would often decide to slip away and fly around the burrow for a while. It gave her the chance to clear her head, to let herself figure out whatever it was that was keeping her up at ungodly hours. 

         It wasn’t until she opened the door slightly & saw harry that she hesitated,  she thought of going back inside; (  but you couldn’t blame her for staying to look at him for a little while longer.. )     THEN HE SPOKE,  she almost ran back at once.  & honestly, she should’ve left. hermione would tell her this isn’t the way to get over him in the morning,  she was sure -- but still,  she moves closer to him; giving an awkward laugh.

        NOT TO BE OVER DRAMATIC,  but ginevra molly weasley was almost positive this was the way that she would die. stuck in her bed, covers all around - hair sticking out of the sheets,  and she groans when she’s asked if she’s okay.

     Stash went ahead and let the nameless girl lean on him. He returned the gesture, wrapping his arm under her arms to help haul her out into the night air. The door slams heavy behind them, muffling the music and voices a bit. There was idle chatter outside, however. People smoking, people waiting on rides… a few conversations that may turn into altercations. Stash tried not to be too shady, guiding her out of the way of traffic so she could vomit as she pleased.      “Short man, big teeth, nice smile. Alright.” He didn’t know if that would be enough to find someone specifically, but it was a start. “Ain’t got any friends with me tonight.” … Oh, wait, that might cause trouble. “At least, I expect I ain’t gonna have any. They’re prolly hookin’ up in the bathrooms.” And Stash went back to holding her hair back. “Give it another go, then I’ll run an’ grab a water bottle,” he assured. “You drive tonight?” He was way too drunk, automatically giving someone his compassion like this.

         As soon as Stash began to hold her hair back again Ginevra leaned over and got sick again,  putting her hands on her stomach -- groaning a bit.  She highly doubts that he’ll find Neville,  but at least he was willing to try to do SOMETHING.

He shouldn’t have gone looking for the Holyhead captain. He shouldn’t have asked about her new lineup, doubly so under the guise of broom sales. Nor should he deprive Ginny of the chance to share her success with her family, but he couldn’t help himself. He had to go see her. 

Apparating to the porch of the Burrow was little more of a courtesy as he didn’t bother knocking, simply letting himself in with a celebratory whoop. With the energy of a madman, Fabian darted around the house in a search for his niece, finding her alone in the kitchen. 

Without so much as an announcement, her pulled her into a hug, wrenching her into the air with another whoop. “Congratulations! Drinks! Drinks all around.”
