I recently started to realize that the main reason I like Gwen so much is not because of what she was like in the show, but because of how I headcanon her.

I mean, headcanon Gwen is really good friends with both of her exes. She's an outspoken feminist. Absolute grunge clothing goals. Probably speaks like seven languages. Let her hair grow out. Then dyed it dark blue. A talented drummer. Got a bachelor's degree in astronomy and physics, then decided to join Trent's band. Still talks to LeShawna all the time. An activist. Open about her battle with depression. A happy single. Living her best life. Doesn't take shit from anybody.

But what the show gave us was a boring and lowkey whiny case of "I'm not like other girls".
