The site is still improving and each week there seem to be new features. Here are just a few reasons why NewTumbl is going to be better than Tumblr:
1. Instead of having to scroll through your feed picture by picture, you can view your entire feed in a format that looks like an archive view (as shown above).
2. You can filter your feed by rating. With NewTumbl, you need to rate your posts. F = family. O = Office. M = Mature. E = Explicit. At first users hated this requirement. But it is really helpful when you want to sort your blog, another’s blog, or even your feed. For example, since we cannot post explicit pictures on Tumblr anymore, I sorted my feed in the photo above to show only “M” for mature posts.
3. If you follow multiple types of blogs, i.e. gay sex blogs, photography blogs, travel blogs, etc., you can also sort by category. This helps you to focus on the content you want to view if you feel like narrowing it down.
Please everyone - please move your blog to this wonderful format. It puts Tumblr to shame.
