When Rivers Run with Wine

I'm late to the party for celebrating 20 years of My Immortal, but I wanted to put out my theory about who Tara Gilesbie could be.

I don't know how anyone could be ashamed of what is an amazing parody of bad Harry Potter fanfiction, especially since it's so beloved, but I think the ship has sailed for anyone to be able to prove they're the real Tara, thanks to Rose Christo's ruse.

But why didn't they come forward before when any proof might have been more credible? It would mean that My Immortal wouldn't just embarrass them, but would damage their reputation.

They're in either religion or politics.

Just imagine your congress person sweating at the possibility that something will be unearthed and will undeniably tie them to something they made as a kid, back when they had a sense of humor.

Just imagine a megachurch's pastor's wife cringing at the mention of Harry Potter, either in banning it because it's Satanic or praising Just Kidding's terfdom.
