⏳ what project(s) did you spend the most time on?

Hmm I think it would be tied between what if my mouth is mistaken (Songxuexiao bodyswap) and my Artemis/Aphrodite Hades Game fic, since these are my two current multichap works

💡 what's a fun idea you had that you didn't have time to get to?

I wrote a little bit of modern AU Chengqing where they are exes and there's a lotttt of unresolved tension, but I never got around to continuing it. Maybe I'll pick it up again at some point

📂 what's still in your wip folder?

Not much these days lol. There's a postcanon Hualian fic set right after Hua Cheng returns, that Chengqing fic, the smallest snippet of writing and a long outline of a Thanzag idea (Hades Game), and randomly a little bit of Ningxian involving the blood pool....lmao

🔪 which project challenged you more than you expected?

That would be not yours not mine (JC/SL rarepair oneshot that came out of nowhere lol) because that was my first "real" new fic after a two year break, so I felt rusty and easily discouraged. Once I got to the editing stage, I started second-guessing everything and wanted to give up lol. But I finished!

📌 did you learn anything about yourself as a writer this year?

I guess this isn't really about me specifically, but it's never too late to come back to something! This year was a lot of picking up old projects and breathing life into them again. I spruced up a Hades Game MegZag oneshot that was well over a year old and finally posted it, added chapters to my Hades Game multichap that has been in progress since 2022, and finally started working on a SongXueXiao idea I had been thinking about for years. Continuing older projects has also made it easier to lower the barrier to writing when I do get the chance.
