Rural roadside cemetery

A Victorian mansion, built around 1890 on a very isolated rural road. Very difficult to find if you don’t know the exact coordinates, but worth the drive down many snowy gravel roads. The silence inside the huge, three story space is jarring. The tower is incredibly claustrophobia inducing.

This is meant to be primarily silly; please take it with a tablespoon of salt

Scotland Fix of the Day: Back in Scotland and tomorrow we begin our Summit Workshops tour of some of my most beloved locations. I’ll be posting here as our travels take us first to Glenfinnan for their Highland Games, on to the Isle of Skye for places like the Old Man of Storr, the dramatic scenes of Elgol and the old bridge at Sligachan, and then on to Orkney for the fantastic stone circles and Viking heritage of Kirkwall.
