dai, after showing toshi his alaskan king bed (which takes up the ENTIRE BEDROOM): i told you i have a big bed toshi: i    didn't quite believe u? like i was sure u had to have a big bed bc ur so tall but. thsi. is literally a room of bed. dai, bright red: it's either this or i put the bed in the living room and lose more than half of that space

“–It’s so weird!” He exclaims, looking between his freed arm and the now-smooth surface where his arm had initially sunken into. While that particular curiosity had been sated, but that simply gave way to more questions. “Real cool, but weird. How’s it feel when you absorb somethin’? What’s it like?”

        “DAISUKE it is then,” toshinori responds thoughtfully, "so. How would you like to do this? Do you want to come to my apartment to cook there, or should I plan to visit yours instead? I do ask that if it’s at mine you warn me so I can buy the ingredients you’ll want beforehand. It’s the least I can do.”

               an  intrusive  hand  clutched  onto  shirt  ( the  designer  fabric  stretching  in  protest )  ,  suspending  his  body  &  feet  above  ground.   who  did  this  human  GLUE  DREG  think  he  was ?!   a  seed  of  imagery  resounded  ,  germinated  solely  by  the  mortification  of  a  GROWN  MAN:   this  suppression  method  was  echoed  in  feline  custody !   thereon  ,  one  could  conclude  that  the  villain  was  effectively  DECLAWED.   dangling  legs  unleashing  a  kick  barrage  begged  to  differ.   kicks  wildly  thrown  at  the  hero  until  cruddy  footprints  materialized  on  their  suit   …   ❛   get  your  filthy  hands  off  me  ,  pro – hero  scum  !   I’LL  KILL  YOU  ,  skewer  your  head  on  my  blade  !!   let  your  ADORING  FANS  feast  eyes  on  your  CORPSE   —–!!!   ❜

eri listened, expression steadily growing more and more horrified as he explained what exactly sleep apnea was. she knew she didn’t have that – if she had, her father would’ve corrected that problem immediately. she had to be the healthiest she could possibly be in order for that plan to have worked. but it didn’t – and now she was here, learning how to live a normal life. “ t-that sounds so scary … “ her reason for sleeping so light was different. “ i-i … sleep so light because … i had to be ready for anything … “

     Different questions appeared his mind, none of them clear or understandable, even to him. His excitement and enthusiasm made everything a mess in his head. Tetsu’s fascinated with how people use their quirks [ his own quirk being hard to use in anything other then hand to hand combat ] He liked learning about other people’s quirk and how hard they trained for it to reach their current strength. Most times he didn’t even remember them for long but the excitement’s always there, especially with pro’s.

“ SO LIKE, KARMA? YOU MUST OF TRAINED A LOT TO LEARN THESE THINGS ABOUT YOUR QUIRK HUH? ”

       “ Yeah, I had to train hard and be forced into a lot of different situations just to find out what I’m capable of. For a lot of my life, I didn’t even know I had a quirk. ” Anyone he had gone to U.A. with had known this fact, and some of the other professional heroes knew it as well. He didn’t know he had a quirk until his first day there.

She wasn’t expecting him to be so kind? Sure, he was a hero and that kindness came with the job ( usually ) but they’d only met a handful of times. She was rarely in the city of her hero work so it was something big for him to be offering to help her like this. 

Yellow eyes focused on his face as he spoke, lighting up a little when he offered to help her, regardless. Her body swaying excitedly as she nodded, before her attention was drawn back to her notebook. Writing something down quickly. 

‘ I just … want to help people. I used to rescue but … I can still do that, I think. It’s just … different, now. But I can’t just sit around feeling sorry for myself anymore. I wanna do something useful, again … you know? I’m not a hero anymore but … I wanna help. That’s what even drew me to being a hero in the first place. ’

The difference between her somber appearance when she thought about her lost quirk to the joy she had when thinking of helping people was of great contrast. The desire she had to be of use to others was something Fatgum thought most heroes should have in some way, shape, and form. So few really had that spark, and reading what she wanted to say only deepened that notion he had of her.

       messing with heroes was a dangerous game to play. some of them reacted violently to being insulted and others brushed it off. it was like russian roulette, you didn’t know where the bullet was. “then we’re at an impassé,” his hands slid nonchalantly into the pockets of the torn black jacket. he wasn’t letting the little marshmallow hero out of his sights. 

           ❝ ——— Hmm… ❞ She chews on her cheek as she thinks, brows furrowed and her earlier embarrassment forgotten. She’s never actually written down her frequencies, though she recalls something Present Mic had told her, and decides to go with that. Better than NOTHING, after all. ❝ I can’t emit anything lower than 50DdB, though I can pick up on frequencies below that still. I can put out maybe… 105DdB without damaging my hearing. That’s all estimates, though. ❞
