Having Fun!!

Morinaga is upset that his mother is going to stay longer. It will interrupt his time with Souichi and he said he would go to work at the university after he dropped her off at the shinkansen. His mom says she'll just get a hotel or something. Souichi says she can stay he doesn't care and Morinaga is arguing that it will be a problem. Souichi assumes he just doesn't want her there and is trying to figure out what to do when Matsuda suggests she come stay with her because they have extra rooms.

Morinaga's mom doesn't want to bother her but Matsuda says that she is used to guests and Soujin brings over colleagues from work without warning all the time. She tells her to at least come over and see how it is and she can go find a hotel if she doesn't like it etc. she agrees to go along and says she wants to talk to them more while thinking of Souijin showing her the picture of Tomoe and Kurokawa.

The next morning they get up, it's awkward and his mom says she's going to go home but Souichi says that it would be a waste for her to come all this way without doing anything and they're all like damn he shouldn't have said that…. but then Morinaga agrees and says they can go out to lunch on her way to the station. Morinaga begs Souichi to go with him because he still doesn't want to be alone with her.

Morinaga suggests they get hitsumabushi because Nagoya is famous for it. They go to a restaurant and run into Souichi's family. They insist that they should eat together. Kanako is celebrating because she got top 50 in the country on the high school placement test. Morinaga says all three of the Tatsumi siblings are super smart and his mother asks about the third one. Soujin says Tomoe is in America and he got married over there and is happy. He shows her a picture of Tomoe and Kurokawa and she asks which one is his son and he says "this is my son and this is his partner" and she gets all shocked.

Kanako scolds him for outing them to Morinaga's mom without him there and that some people don't understand that sort of stuff and Soujin doesn't really get it.
