Welcome to the Korrasami Valentine-White Day Exchange event!

What is it?

The Valentine-White Day exchange is an event where artists and writers exchange art and fics for Valentine’s Day and White Day! The event is based on the actual holidays. For those who don’t know, in some Asian cultures, they have a holiday called White Day, which takes place March 14. To them, Valentine’s Day is more for girls giving candy and cards to those they like. And then, on White Day, a month later, the boys hand out candy and cards and such.

This event will function similarly. Valentine’s Day creators will make a piece for Valentine’s day, to be posted Feb 14, 2021. Then, the White Day creators will create a “response” work, to be posted March 14, 2021. This is an open event and we will try to include as many people as possible, provided there are enough to pair everyone up.

For this event, there will be “normal” works and “short” works. Normal works are…normal. “Short” works will be works that are created under a shorter amount of time; this is aimed for those who are really busy and want to participate but do not have the time to commit to a large piece. We will pair normal artists with normal writers, and short artists with short writers.

[Note: the artist-writer pairs will be kept secret, as a surprise. White Day creators should not disclose information on who they are paired up with. In a way, it functions like a secret santa. To make it fair, all creators will be given ONE MONTH to work on their pieces.]
