NIGHT GUARD.

the instructions cecil and the other guards leave him are about locking them all up, and they obviously didn’t care about anyone in the museum since they were willing to steal their life source with no qualms whatsoever. 

not to mention that when larry casually mentions that the miniatures have the whole room, jed and oct go completely quiet. the complete and utter shock on jed’s face when he very quietly says, “you’re gonna let us out?” 

they’ve never been out of their exhibits before. the previous guards never even gave them that courtesy, much less any respect or kindness. and then here comes larry, who lets them out without a second thought, who figures out what every one of them wants and needs, who actively tries to make all of them happy.
